This park offers visitors seven miles of beach, two swimming pools, a boardwalk and games.
First, be prepared for high tide. Our beach towels and chairs were soaked around 12:30pm even though it was far behind waterline in the morning.
Other than our tidal happening, the beach is great. Very good quality sand quite environment. I like the idea of no amplified sound rule.
We used a concession at the field 6 and the food is good.

The American Airpower Museum is Non-Profit 501C3 Aviation Museum and State Chartered Educational Foundation. A unique Museum in that many of the historic Aircraft are operational and fly regularly during the spring and summer months. The Museum is located at historic Republic Airport in Farmingdale NY. The Airport established back in the 1920s by Fairchild and Grumman Aviation. Eventually the home of Seversky Aviation during the 1930s it would evolve into Republic Aviation in 1939. In 1941 Republic produced the P-47 Thunderbolt which would go on to be the most mass produced fighter of WWII with over 15,000 built. Republic would go on to build the F-84, F-105, and A-10 Fighter Aircraft all right here in Long Island NY. Today the American Airpower Museum calls one of the last three surviving Republic Hangars home.

The Parlor of Mystery is a monthly magic show. Every month there is a different show inside the beautiful black box theatre called the South Shore Theatre Experience. Please only use this review site to rate the monthly magic shows.
The intimate parlor setting was perfect for the performance, but seats are a bit uncomfortable and sometimes it's difficult to see clearly when a tall person is in front of you.The acts were very good.

I come to this beach with my family at least once a week. It is located just east of Jones Beach, so it is just a beautiful as far as the scenery goes. it is a beach run by the town of Oyster bay for its residents, but it is open to non-resident during the week. The walk to the beach isn't as bad as Jones beach though. there is the Ocean side, a bay side and the marina. It also has a outdoor Gym for the muscle heads, but it's never occupied. I think you have too bring your own weight (I don't see anything). It has a food court in the center of the beach. On the eastern end, there is a place to buy food. they serve your typical overpriced beach food (burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream). There is also surfboarding and soft boarding area, children’s play area, picnic area, Spray Park, and a Miniature Golf Course. Finally, there are 2 full service restaurants.
Parking fees: TOB Residents $20 daily, $60 season; Non-residents permitted Mondays through Fridays only (except holidays): $50 daily.

We came here on Labor Day, hoping that most people would either be away or busy with bbqs. We were wrong on that front and it was fairly crowded, but, never in an uncomfortable way. The lines really weren't bad at all, and you were never bumping into people. Parking was a drag (we ended up in the farthest back lot), but if you go early in the day, it shouldn't be nearly as bad.
There are plenty of rides to keep the kids entertained for hours, and most of the younger rides are grouped in the same area. This is helpful so that you're not having to run all over the park to find the ones that the little kids are allowed on. It got surprisingly hot as the day wore on, but they had various misting stations set up (which was a nice relief for kids and adults alike), and there were plenty of places to sit as well as areas of shade.
The rides themselves were all a good time. There were the usual ones that you would find at a carnival or theme park, but also ones that us adults hadn't seen before and thought were fun. There were several rides for much older kids/adults, but they too were gathered together in one area. My husband and I found our respective restrooms to be clean, and all staff we encountered throughout the day were friendly and helpful.
We were all too busy enjoying the rides and didn't sit down to eat an actual meal, instead grabbing sodas and popcorn for the ride home. There were more than enough choices if you wanted to eat though, from the usual carnival fare of cotton candy and funnel cakes, to pizza, chicken tenders, or hot dogs. There are also plenty of carnival style games to partake in if rides aren't your thing, with younger kids usually guaranteed a prize of some kind.
This is a great way to spend a whole day, or even just a few hours. It is a nice alternative to some of the bigger parks, and not nearly so overwhelming to try to tackle doing everything there.

Love, love, love the Jones Beach Theatre! Just the views of the bay and the Beach are breathtaking! We saw the Moody Blues and sat in the last row up top. WOW-not a bad seat in the house! We love the water views - no other venue can offer these beach views! Plenty of parking and the state police are everywhere for your safety. Don't pass up a chance to see a concert here-just bring s sweater because it is the beach and the evenings do get chilly!!

Your neighborhood's favorite Irish pub. Visit us for dinner, lunch & Sunday brunch or come down to watch the game and enjoy the best happy hour in town. Don't forget our live music!
Stopped in after an evening of shopping and it's was a mixed bag. It's definitely a hopping place and the live music playing mostly 60/70's rocks was a good, even if at times it made it almost impossible to talk. The service was very attentive,...MoreThank you for joining us recently and we hope that you and your wife stop in again soon. We are surprised to hear about your appetizers and know that on your next visit you will enjoy them! Sincerely, The Team at Johnny McGorey's Pub
