We parked at Boulevard de la Ginesta where there is a car park for the forest park (I think this is already more than half way up the hill - we didn't fancy doing the whole thing with young children). We only wanted to walk to the top of the hill, so didn't bother with the other lower paths (of which there seem to be quite a few). If you want to follow our route (a gradual 10 minute climb along good paths with occasional steps), take the path to the right close to that car park that leads up steps through the trees. There is an incredible view from the top and there is a map pointing out distant landmarks. There is also one picnic table. If you only have an hour to spend (or less), this is still do-able and a nice change from the beaches and other normal tourist activities.

We were lucky enough to have been invited to a wedding at the Chateau. The beach area was lovely and kept the children occupied for hours. The scenic beauty was a wonder to behold.

It’s got a huge supermarket, Home Depot style store and mall area with many clothing boutiques (H&M) and hair salons etc...works for me
