Maschsee

I enjoyed very much my time spent at Maschsee although weather was not the best for outdoor activities. It is an artificial lake in a walking distance from the city center, suitable for all possible free time activities. It was built in 30th last century and one can identify sign of it. Especially the colummn with Olympic torch runner on its top takes a breath away and scare a bit at the other hand knowing in what intention such monuments were built and what followed. Anyway it makes this place not only recreation area but also historical place worth a more research.

Heide Park

Spend a day at the huge amusement park, Heide Park. There are kiddie rides, thrill rides, shows and restaurants. Children should not miss the adventure playground. The season runs from the end of March through November.

Heide Park is an Amazing Amusement park in Germany. It got the Peppa Pig area for the small ones, Drachenzähmen die Insel for the 6 year olds and for the older ones a big thrill ride lineup with Flug der Dämonen the Wing Coaster, KRAKE a small Dive Coaster, the new rethemed and retraced Intamin prefab Woodie Colossos - Kampf der Giganten, Scream the 71m tall gyro drop, Big Loop a Vekoma MK 1200 and Limit a overused Vekoma SLC. The Park is very nice, the rides are very good themed except for a couple older ones like Limit and Big Loop. The food was good, it was tasty and not to expensive. The Tickets weren't to expensive. We payed 49 euros for a day ticket with a 2 for 1 coupon and payed 35 euros for the online Tickets. Overall a very great Park. The only thing that's missing me is a Giga Coaster. That would be a very good lineup for the Park.
