Isla Iguana

Reviewed By jmizekc - Mahahual, Mexico

Just a short boat ride from Pedasi but it's like another world. Beautiful turquoise water and white sand make for a very Caribbean feel. Thousands of frigate birds, tons of iguanas, hermit crabs everywhere and nice snorkeling right off the beach. Bring your own snorkel gear to snorkel, the rental gear is cheap but bad. The easiest way to get there is to go to Playa Arenal in Pedasi and you'll see the boats and the captains. We paid $70 for an all-day trip. No reservations needed.

Playa Venao Beach

A beautiful horse-shoe shaped bay known for consistent waves, black sand beach, outdoor activities, comfortable accommodation, good food, and vibrant nightlife. One of the many beaches in Pedasi District (25 mins from Pedasi town), the beach has become a hot destination for locals and overseas tourists alike: surfers, couples, families, backpackers, and people of all ages looking for paradise

By far my favourite place in Panama. This beach is the reason I will be returning to the Country. All the people I met were amazing, the restaurants were all so great. Stayed at the Selina, and it was a little piece of paradise. Make sure you check out Shokogi Surf School if you're in the area!!

Wonderful beach, with boats to take you to offshore islands for the day. Cost about 60 dollars for 6 people. Looked great. Beach very clean
