Whilst Anse Figuier isn't quite as big a the slice of Paradise as les Grandes Salines, it is definitely one of my favourite Beaches on the island.
There is plenty of car parking, the toilets are close by and clean, and the beach is quiet during the week before coming alive on the weekends with local children learning to swim.
The beach itself is relatively small, but there are several palm trees which offer cover from the Caribbean sun and the water is calm, shallow and brilliant blue.
Definitely worth a stop during any visit to Martinique!

Totally brilliant! We went for a dive as beginners and were so impressed by Eric's excellent and reassuring instruction. He was a wonderful instructor and his wife Cecile is also very lovely so that we felt extremely welcome and looked after at all points. The dive itself was extraordinary- with beautiful fish & coral. We totally recommend this experience! It was amazing!! Thank you Eric & Cecile.

La Pointe Marin

This is a nice beach for the family to enjoy. The beach is long, the sand soft and white, the water blue and calm. The beach gets plenty of sun all day as it faces the west. Plenty of trees line the beach, providing ample shade for many. The beach road is lined with lots of restaurants. It seemed to be popular with the locals so it can get crowded.
It's very close to the center of St Anne so it was nice way to spend the day at the beach and then head into town to shop and eat.
It's a great beach for families young and old, large and small.

Fantastic experience !!! It is all what you are looking for when you wanna scuba dive safely and enjoy great spots. The crew is extremely knowledgeable, cares about you and the nature and perform a great housekeeping either on their shop and on the boat. The gears are brand new and cleaned twice a day. Safety first is not just a word it is the way they operate. My wife and myself had great fun and saw crazy things while our 2 daughters (17 and 15) as well as my son (10) got their padi scuba level. We saw turtles, plenty of diff animals and enjoy every minutes with the crew. Whether you are looking for a great organization to dive in Martinique just go with them. Last but not least they are located in the middle of the most gorgeous spots which reduce boating to reach them. This is not a detail when the waves gets tough.

Want to know more about Martinique and the Antilles? The artifacts, models and panels tell a rich pre-european history much of it based on the local archeology. Well worth the price of admission. Conveniently located to free parking and family beach.

It was our last day in Martinique, the car was packed and coming down from Riviere-Pilote, we found this place and stopped. The little entry fee requested is every penny worth!
We spent over an hour in this majestic garden with medicinal plants. Our guide Rose-Marie did not only describe what we saw (majestic views on Le Marin up to the Diamant), she also told us a lot about the Easter traditions in Martinique. We got a drink and ice cream on the little Terrace overseeing the bay. Many thanks Rose-Marie, you made this last day in Martinique unforgettable!

We spent several days on this beach while on Martinique. It's the tropical beach you've been looking for! White sand and clear water. If you're after more privacy, explore the neighbouring Beaches too - just walk for 5 or 10 min following the shoreline. Some parts can have lots of seaweed.

My wife and I made the short drive from ClubMed to this spot one morning for a hike up the mountain. It was a good workout and we certainly worked up a sweat! However, the trail was well maintained and the views were well worth it.
