Pedego Electric Bikes La Quinta

Hello, fun. That is the motto of Pedego and a reason why we opened Pedego La Quinta. We were looking for something new and different to do in the Coachella Valley. We know that the Valley is a destination for a lot of individuals looking for a way to relax while still staying active. With countless days of optimal weather and great terrain for biking we knew Pedego would be a great fit in our

We have rented bikes here before and we’re ever so impressed with not only the quality of the bikes but with the staff who are very helpful in every which way! Our last bike ride I had gotten a flat tire and called for help and they came with new bike within 15 min! Excellent customer service! So my husband and I went today and rented electric bikes again! Of note, bikes are like new and love them! We went and rode to El Paseo with ease and the staff recommended we take the scenic and safe route which we did! It was a great ride! We then had the energy to come back to La Quinta and do the Bear Creek Trail! It was also a great ride made easy by the electric bike! We look forward to our next trip back and highly recommend renting your bikes here or doing one of their trips! Again, bikes are like new and a pleasure to ride! Love this place and the helpful staff! Thank s You and we will be back!

Hey, you Catholics out there! St. Francis is a beautiful church on beautiful grounds. We attended 7:30 am Mass here last Sunday morning. Fr. McLaughlin, the pastor, presided over Mass. He's from Scotland, and delivered a couple jokes during the homily. Nice effort, Fr. McLaughlin. It's always good to come across a priest from Scotland who knows how to keep the flock awake! Note: this is a busy place. They pack'em in. So, you better plan to be here at least 10-15 minutes early to get a good seat. Enjoy. Amen.

Civic Center Campus

This park is 17.5 acres of natural beauty with not a swing set or basketball court in sight. This is a park for pensive reflection and enjoyment of the public art on display. Most notably in the center of the park is a small lake or pond with a high-spewing water feature and many ducks ready for whatever treat they are able to snare. Paths weave through the grassy park past the gleaming white gazebo and little foot bridge over the water; it reminded us of something we'd expect to see in an English garden. The setting is ideal. Mature trees shade families sitting on the undulating hills of grass. Along the pathway is a fantastic piece of sculpture incorporating a piece of the steel girder from the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers. The steel is placed between two more substantial supports and it is something you can reach out and connect with on a more personal and physical level. The twists and turns of the supports convey the impression of the magnitude of the calamity that day. Other steel pieces on display are inscribed with the names of those that served. La Quinta is remembering their military through these powerful pieces. More light-hearted sculptures include a lollipop tree, a shield and large white club (or so it seemed to us), inlaid mosaic path designs, and little surprises along the way. The park is situated between the City Hall and the Library and is very near La Quinta Old Town. What a special jewel of a park.
