Playa El Torn Naturist Beach

Reviewed By Kay R - Dunstable, United Kingdom

We have just spent two weeks staying very close to this beach. Loved it last year and had to return. Lazy days laying on gorgeous clean soft sand, clear water and I also got to swim with the fish again. After a good swim there is a shower on the beach, a chance to rinse off before grabbing a beer and something to eat in the shade of the lovely decked out beach bar
But one extra treat I thought I would never see was a tornado touching down about a mile out at sea and I managed to get a photo or two.
I have always said once I have been to a place I would prefer to go somewhere else, but this place is worth another visit, I am sure we will go back again.just to see what other attractions crop up. Amazing!

Club De Golf Bonmont

A golf course with Mediterranean views. Bonmont is laid out around a magnificent 18 hole par 72 golf course, which creates a most attractive setting. The natural undulations of the land, the lakes and the community’s Gardens and homes all blend seamlessly against this backdrop of green. Strategically located tees, more than 90 bunkers and water hazards provide a stimulating challenge for the golfer. Throughout the round, there is a remarkable sense of space, which creates a feeling of peace and relief from day-to-day concerns. You only need stand on the first tee and take in the views. The course maintenance programme has been designed to botch care for and protect the biodiversity if this marvelous landscape.

The course is situated in a 'golf urbanization', which is basically a holiday park around a golf course. These villas spoiling the great scenery of this course a bit, but never become too disturbing. The front nine are nice, but the back nine offer the greatest views. The course is very challenging, and because of the slopes, it plays quite long. Hole 10 and 17 are my personal favorites. Maintenance is fine and the staff are friendly. The facilities are good, although 1 euro for a towel feels a bit cheap for a high quality golf course.

Cala Forn

I do admit we came here in peak season so I expected it to be busy. We still managed to find plenty of space to put our things down. The beach itself was sandy and clean, with the added bonus of a decent sized car park, a bar, toilets and showers. There was a fair bit of seaweed but nothing troubling. The sea is otherwise perfectly clear and ideal to take children to. We did a little bit of snorkeling, but found there was more to see at other nearby Beaches. This one is however a really good swimming beach.

We used the beach on the last 3 days of our holiday, it's cleaned every morning, we also saw litter pickers on there on one day. Sunbeds to hire for €4.5 per bed, €6 for a shade, per day, the guy controlling the sunbeds speaks great English, and you get a receipt for your payment, it lasts until 18.00 hrs. The beach is very flat, the sea easily accessable, and there's also a nice beach bar, called the Denver Bar, right on the beach, for drinks and snacks. Lifeguards patrol the beach at all times during the day, also first aid huts are at the back of the beach. There are also showers, and wooden slatted walkways that lead you on to the beach, helpful with kids buggies etc.
