To be honest I first heard about him a few months ago when I was learning Macedonian. When I arrived to Skopje and talked to people about him I could see everyone loved him and still miss him. It is wonderful to see how much pride he have brought to his people and how much they still love him. Cool museum with wonderful music of course.

One of the most exciting monuments I have ever seen anywhere. The Makedonium is a socialist space shuttle! Go there and be astonished!

A wonderful monument and a reminder of the 10 day independence of Krusevo. Particularly interesting to visit during the celebrations of Ilinden which take place on 2nd August next to the statue.

A great place for paragliding. Good launch sites. Plenty of variety. Local people in villages in the flatlands very friendly towards pars gliders. Generally easy to find a crop-free landing site near a village.

The Krusevo lake is an artificial lake up in the hills above Krusevo. Visited a number of times for an evening run. There's a small kiosk nearby for some food. Seems to me a good place for escaping the valley heat and chill.

The church of Bogorodica (St. Mary the Virgin) is located high in the upper town, near the old Nikola Karev school and the Historic Museum. It was built in 1867 and, hence, is the second oldest church after Sv. Nikola (which dates from 1832). From the hill side behind the church, you have a beautiful view over the city.

The Church of Bogorodica is a great place to visit here. Settled on one of the hills on Krusevo, from here you can see the best sight of this town and the chursh have great history.
