名物のエドヒガンザクラは、今年の気候のせいか、満開といいながら下の枝はあまり花がついておらず、ちょっとさびしい感じでした。それでも桜の木に至る湿地にわたされた木道を歩いていると、土筆やスギナが生えていたり、野鳥が囀りだしたりと春の息吹を感じることができます。結構な人数の人がこの木道を行き来するので、一部は一方通行になってますがタイミングを見ないと渋滞することもありました。駐車場も昼には満車になる（出入りはありますが）ので午前中をお勧めします。

A place is difficult to find.
But if it's found, you're moved.
I also saw a gray cherry tree in Gifu-ken, there are a lot of tourists there, and, as it is seen, it was serious.
But that there are few same tourists mostly like the scale, a cherry tree here can enjoy itself. Tea was served for free of charge.If you go to see, a taxi is recommended. It takes about 15 minutes.

駅から遠くのが難点です。バスが通ってますが本数が少ないです。体育館と球場＆公園が道を隔てて両サイドにあります。球場は、サッカー、野球、ソフトボール、テニスなどでき、公園内は噴水や池、人口の浅い川などあり、夏場は子供が水遊びできるようになっています。ランニングする人もたくさんいます。

遊具もなく芝生広場とパーゴラくらいしかない小さな公園ですが、桜が200本ほど植樹されています。公園が整備されてから20年ほどなので、桜の木も立派に成長しています。3月の彼岸に行ったのでソメイヨシノはツボミでしたが、カンザクラや枝垂れ桜のほかコブシが満開で綺麗でした。小高い丘なので、菜の花が広がる荒川の堤防の先に、雪化粧した浅間山や甲武信三山が見渡たせて気分爽快になりました。

駅からちょっと離れたところにありますが、まっすぐな大きい道が整備されてます（自転車専用レーンがあってサイクリングによさそう）。こちらの環境協会ではいろいろパンフなどもらえます。パンフによるとこの前の道が桜並木の名所となってますが、整備されてからまだ日が浅いので木が小さく、満開になっても桜のトンネル、というわけにはいきません。将来に期待です。さらに今年は天候のせいかまだ開花となってませんでした。
