Rent some bikes from Donnie at Maui Cyclery and ride this amazing trail. Maui Cyclery is the only shop I will go to on Maui! I've lived here 15 years and worked in a few of the shops as well. Be advised... Don't rent from the shop in Makawao as they will try and cheat you out of your money. They often try and switch bikes to lesser quality the day of your rental. Watch out cause they will charge you more than you agreed to. Enough negatives. This trail is amazing but also at 10,000 feet. It can be MUCH colder than sea level. Please check the weather before you go and ride safe :)

Maui Arts & Cultural Center is a world-class performing & visual arts center, inspiring people with personal & shared experiences of the arts on Maui.
Made our annual visit to the Symphony and enjoyed music and Broadway vocalists. Another time, saw Hawiian performer Kahana and friends. The MACC offers great variety, superb acoustics throughout the theater and reasonable prices. A treasure.

Maui Swap Meet is a great location to purchase island fresh produce, craft items, island clothing and other island inspired items. Get there early as the swap meet is very popular.

Many single lane areas and bridges, and hikes and views along way. Be careful if you try to squeeze past in the wrong place- road was blocked on one switch back because one fool had his wheels hanging over the ocean side ledge. Sometimes you have to back up, slowly, and when a sign says honk horn to warn blind approaching traffic, do so.

Considered one of the finest galleries in the state of Hawaii, and Maui's only museum-quality exhibition space, the 4,000 square foot space features flexible exhibit lighting, free-standing and mobile wall panel systems, climate control, and hardwood floors. Elegant and functional, it is perfect for an exhibition, installation, or reception.

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is a six acre botanical garden nestled in the heart of Kahului, Maui, Hawai‘i. Unlike other botanical gardens statewide, MNBG is the only botanical garden in the State of Hawai‘i that primarily features collections of Native Hawaiian and Polynesian-introduced plant species within a coastal sand dune environment. The garden showcases Hawaiian plant collections that are specific to the islands of Maui Nui (Maui, Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i, Kaho‘olawe, and Molokini) and many are endangered and/or endemic to the islands.
Very well done cultural botanical garden. We came towards the end of the day and the staff was very friendly and allowed us to stay after closing. She was very helpful. We loved going around a seeing all the native and Polynesian introduced plants and trees that formed the basis for Hawaiian life: food, medicine, construction, tools. The handheld self guided tour devices held a lot of information about the plants and there usages. Both Botanical and cultural information on most of the plants was available. It gives you a botanical view of the interaction of culture and physical world of Hawaii.

Who would have thought that Tiffany’s, Gucci, and Rolex would be upstairs in this two story mall? Well it is and you’ll also find Rip Curl, Crazy Shirts and Lululemon. Banana Republic was having a great sale and I bought some sweaters to bring back to Colorado. After shopping there’s plenty of restaurants to visit. Check out the Cheeseburger Place or Tommy Bahamas.Theres something for everyone in this mall.
