Pelican Lake

Reviewed By 658marshallb - Ferney-Voltaire, France

We normally start our walk to the beach from Pelican Lake, where there is always a flock of white ibises grazing close to the gazebo on the south side of the lake. Parking for 20 or so cars is available at the playground. Access to the beach is not far away - there is also parking closer to the town hall. It appears that the town is adding some trees along the pathway to make the walk even more beautiful - a credit to the town of Juno Beach - and the lake itself is kept rather natural, with wild grasses growing on the banks. A very good place for power-walking - well kept sidewalk. And, once you get onto the beach, there is a very enjoyable 1 1/2 hour walk southwards towards MacArthur State Park. So, overall, a great place to start and end.

On our last day heading back to Miami, we stopped by Juno beach to go fishing for fathers days. They have all the equipment you need for fishing invade you are unprepared. Also, the beach is very beautiful and quite perfect for family events, however make sure you bring things you may need like “everything”. There is no food or drinks to order.
