We've been coming to the Popcorn Park Zoo for years and love the mission of the zoo: saving and protecting animals in need. This was our first visit bringing our daughter, and she loved it too -- she's 2, so getting to see animals she's only read about in books (tigers, bears, monkeys, etc.) was really cool. It's small enough to easily see all exhibits, but has a wide array of animals to keep everyone entertained. We especially love reading about each animal's story as we make our rounds -- the Humane Society does incredible work, and we're so grateful a haven like this exists for animals in need.

The Barnegat Branch Trail from Barnegat to Lacey is very well maintained and close to eight feet wide in most spots. Some sections run through wooded areas, it feels as thought you’re miles away from anything even though Route 9 is very close. The grade is flat and makes for an enjoyable walk, run or ride.

Had a great time with the family. Arrived early and not too crowded, but was starting to fill up around noon. Lots is included in the entrance fee. Paid an additional $5 for a pony ride. Would recommend.
