Elephant Whispers is an absolute must to visit. You will never forget it. It is next door to Hippo Hollow Hotel which is superb to stay at.. Transfers can be arranged to go there..An encounter with the elephants is an amazing experience, such a profound effect.. You learn about the elephants body, and much more, hands on experience with them, and walk or ride even lunch if you wish. The handlers are amazing and they clearly love their handlers and visa versa. Very well looked after.. I highly recommend to visit this Sanctuary..Make sure you see Peaches the little dog there and Lucky as well, they smile.

Pabeni Gate Kruger National Park

Reviewed By kdklmjcheck123 - Brisbane, Australia

Our last Kruger visit before flying back to Australia, and we thought we were early getting there at 6:20am... this is a popular gate, opening at 6am in September, it took approximately 40 minutes to get through the gate, get our visitor passes and go through security - either get there earlier or after queued early birds (possibly 7:30am). We saw at the day visitor area that there had been sightings of leopard, lion, elephant, water buffalo and rhino... We went in search of elephants and we were not disappointed - herds heading to the water, herds drinking and cooling down in the water, herds eating. It was hard to leave, seeing these beautiful creatures in the wild was on the bucket list, though the bucket keeps filling up with more elephant experiences!
