My wife has been wanting to try iFLY for a good while now and we finally where able to accomplish that this past weekend. I unfortunately could not do it since I have previously dislocated my shoulder but she had a blast. iFLY simulates skydiving without having to jump out of a plane. Victor our instructor was awesome, he did a really good job of explaining the technique needed to get the best experience, and he just was a genuine nice person. The instructor (Victor) stays in there with you the entire time and makes sure you stay safe but also helps you maneuver around and have fun. Great experience and my wife already purchased a voucher to go back when we are back in town.

St. John Cantius Church

A diverse Catholic church in the heart of Chicago helping people encounter the Sacred through the sacraments, solemn liturgies, art, music, and culture. View the incredible artwork inside one of Chicago's most stunning churches—voted "Most Beautiful Church in America." After you finish looking up, notice the beautiful floors containing 17 varieties of inlaid hardwood from around the world.

Absolutely gorgeous church in the River West neighborhood of Chicago, and perhaps the finest of the many so-called “Polish Cathedrals” in the city. Chicago calls itself the largest Polish city outside of Warsaw, which acknowledges the city’s importance as a major place of convergence for Polish immigrants. True to this heritage, the church of St John Cantius features Polish writing on many of its interior frescoes and statues. Today it hosts a thriving parish community, including one of America’s preeminent Tridentine Mass congregations, and is a significant center for sacred art and music. I visited the church on a Sunday but not during mass, so I was free to walk around and take in the beauty of the architecture. If you are the kind of traveler who likes to get “off the beaten path,” but doesn’t have a ton of time to spare, a visit to this church is a good compromise. There’s a Blue Line subway station nearby, and it’s only about a 10-minute ride to here from the Loop.

My daughter and I traveled to Chicago for a weekend before Christmas. When we walked into the spa, I was struck by the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings and the calming fragrances. My cell phone battery had just died, and the staff charged my phone for me during our visit. We started off our visit with the infrared sauna followed by the private shower. What a way to shake off the cold and start a day of relaxation! The warmth reminded me of the heat of Arizona, which I love, and the fragrances of the products in the bathroom are so pleasant. We then had a hot stone massage. My massage therapist was knowledgeable, concentrated on my problem areas, and talked enough not to be awkward but not enough to be disruptive to my relaxation. She was fantastic! We then dressed and waited in the lovely "tent" waiting area and were taken to the nail salon. My pedicure was just fine. However, my daughter's nail technician was a bit overzealous in treating ingrown toenails, and my daughter developed 2 sore big toes the following day and infection in one of them -- nothing serious and nothing that a bit of peroxide didn't fix. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic, and we would likely substitute a facial for the pedicure the next time. This spa far surpassed our expectations!

Very talented group of improv actors. Audience participation was a must and the stage did not fail to impress. Very clean act.... some innuendo and the only F bomb thrown out was an appropriate comment. Lots of laughs
