Bali Bird Park

Enjoy walking around and get along with a thousand birds and its habitat. The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah. Enter into their real living environment and see how they play with their colony, how they breed, and feel their happiness. You'll love them. Be entertained with our various bird shows and feeding activities and also many special programs made only for you. Take photos from lots of incredible scenes and taste the richness of local Balinese culinary and international cuisine from our fantastic menus in the restaurant.

This was our fourth family visit. The park continues to make incremental improvements and is great for all generations of the family. It has always offered a great day out with well managed and accessible natural exhibits set in a pleasing park like environment - many of the birds are kept in the open or in bigger aviaries ( though some are kept in smaller cupboard cages, which seem to be being phased out). The birds come from a wide background including SE Asia, South America, and South Africa. There are specific areas for, and more focus on, Sumatra, Borneo, Papua, Java and of course Bali. There is a Komodo Dragon exhibit as well. The bird shows and feeding sessions are not gimmicky or exploitative and the staff seem genuinely interested in, and caring for, the birds there. There is a very good cafe onsite which is offers snacks and lunch ( Balinese and international food). Best suggested time to visit is mid morning to avoid the worst of the traffic, catch the shows and then have a later lunch and drinks when it gets hotter.

Rang Reng Cave

Waterfall tours are different from other waterfall forms, because the shape is sloping, not shaped like a waterfall usually. So that is why this waterfall is very aesthetic in the form of tourist attractions. In addition, there is a river found for tourists to try their adventure with the cliffs surrounding it.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo waterfall is untouchable place in gianyar regency since 2010, good news for you now there are many many tourist go there, this waterfall is near tegenungan waterfall, the road to reach kanto lampo waterfall little bit narrow. Vibes nature when you go there, it's very wonderful to take some photos there and make some videos.

The waterfall is 5km from Ubud so you can just get a taxi driver to take you and hang around and then take you back (we haggled a bit RP200,000) There are free lockers you can leave some of your stuff near the car park at the top, there are toilets and changing area there too. You take some steep stairs to the waterfall and eventually you have to climb down some slippery rocks to get in the river to get to the waterfall. But it’s so worth it!! Lots of places were you can safely get in the waterfall but be warned it’s full of people taking photos, some daft tourists acting like they’re doing a cover shoot are hilarious. There are usually local guys in the water who will offer to take photos of you, they are worth using as they help you manoeuvre around the waterfall safely and your phone stays dry! You just tip them a small amount at the end, they’re grateful for anything, not demanding at all. The waterfall is in a stunning setting and definitely the best one in the area, only 20,000 entrance fee.

After reading the reviews at Tripadvisor, didn't have great expectations about Bali Safari and Marine Park, but i was pleasantly surprised after my visit there. Had one of the best days of our Bali Trip at this park. With animal shows running through out the day, Bali Safari tour where we saw wide range of animals from very close by, ample places to have meals or quick snacks, petting zoo and so on...we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The park is very well managed and organized, very clean, many information centers. Kids enjoyed a lot and so did we. A must visit place when in Bali.

Ubud Sari Coffee Luwak Agrotourism

Reviewed By StuartDC66 - Blackpool, United Kingdom

Visited here on way to Tanah Lot, we were greeted by a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide who explained the entire process of Luwak coffee. The taste of regular tea makes me heave but theirs is next level, we left with a huge packet of red ginger tea, turmeric tea, kopi luwak coffee and coconut cream coffee. Spent a small fortune on what is basically tea and coffee but it was worth every penny. When we go back to Bali i will be refilling my cupboards.

Kemenuh Butterfly Park

Reviewed By blakeHK - Hong Kong, China

I have read other reviews that said there were limited species but this may have been during a particular time of year. Our experience was full of different species and was overall a great experience for my wife, myself and 2yo daughter. The butterflies often land nearby and it is fascinating for the family to watch them feed and bathe in the sun. We even had a few of the butterflies land on us and this was a real thrill for my daughter (and wife) The part is not huge but different area attract different species and so is worth to spent the time walking around a couple of times. There is also an area where you can hold and touch the very beautiful / impressive Atlas Moths and also some giant stick insects. In this area you can also experience the hatching of butterflies / moths from cocoons / chrysalis Overall I think if you spend the time here you will get your money worth. My family really enjoyed it and we would recommend it.

Sukawati Art Market

Sukawati art market, Gianyar, is a perfect place for those who just love to shop around or even for those who just want to see what typical Balinese souvenirs, gifts or crafts look like. If you can haggle and learn the average price, it will save you a lot of money compared to Legian, Kuta or Seminyak. You must dare to cut the offered price by 90 percent. They will probably pout or mumble in front of you but Sukawati art market is well known as a wholesale heaven so it should be that cheap; especially if you buy in bulk.

Reviewed By Patrick294248 - Quezon City, Philippines

Way better than Ubud market. Prices are cheaper and sellers are less pushy. Always bargain 75% off of asking price. There are two sections to this market. One that sells souvenirs and one that sells everyday stuff you need. Cleaner and less crowded than Ubud market. As long as there are no bus loads of Chinese tourists when you visit, shopping here is very relaxing.
