Georgetown Drive-In Theater

I'm not trying to sound like snob, but I drive a nice truck, and this place is NOT a place for nice vehicles. The showing was at 9:30.
We got there at 7. I was going to make sure that I knew where it was. They were packed already. It was crowded, loud, and
little ones running around banging in everyone's car. The concessions were gross and over priced.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

This park offers a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Reserve its shelter house, take a walk, picnic, or just bring the kids to play on the playground!

We moved here from So Calif. 15 years ago and have never regretted our decision. A very rural, small town atmosphere, yet less than 30 minutes to major services and the airport.. Louisville has everything you could want, within an hour of home.

Wine, bourbon, rum, brandy. Great setting. Tasting room. Great atmosphere. Many products to sample. Great customer friendly service. Clean. Close parking. Great stop on Sunday afternoon. Food available. Snacks. Ice cream. Only reason this isn’t a 5 star. Prices. Very pricey, but if you can afford it, it would be a 5 star. Like the wine. Love the brandy, and the whiskey is pretty good. Plenty to do.

Culbertson Mansion State Historic Site

Not only is the Culbertson Mansion visually stunning, it has such an amazing history behind it. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable - these people are doing such a great job of educating the community about local history.

They also have many fundraising events throughout the year, which are great in their own right! I had the pleasure of visiting their annual haunted house as well as one of the murder mystery events. Both were really fun and promote a great cause!

Our group went to this playhouse and we seen A Christmas Carol the Musical and the show was very good but the food not very good at all. However the show was very good and perfect for holiday season. We really did enjoy this show as the actors made it a fantastic new view of this classic tale. Only wish the food was half as good as the show. They need to hire a better chef who takes pride in their food.

Carnegie Center for Art & History

Contemporary art gallery, history museum and former Carnegie library featuring changing local and regional art exhibits, hand carved dioramas, an award-winning Underground Railroad exhibit, and an exhibit on Lucy Higgs Nichols, a woman who escaped slavery and served as a nurse with the 23rd Indiana Regiment during the Civil War. Free admission and tours for school, youth, and adult groups. Only 10 minutes from downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10 am-5:30 pm, closed major holidays.

I can only really comment on the underground railroad exhibit because that was all we had time to see. We enjoyed it very much. I wish they had structured the movie so it didn't take quite so long to view it but that's really my only criticism. It was a very good exhibit and I appreciate having something free and of quality to do with my family. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and I appreciated her point out that the front gallery was not appropriate for my young children.

This is a great park on the river. There’s a nice interpretive center and they give tours of the Falls on occasions. There’s quite a bit to explore on your own. Good hiking. Good access to downtown Jeffersonville through sidewalks. The fossils are neat to see and learn about. Plenty of parking. Close to restaurants and shops in downtown Jeffersonville and also the Big Four Bridge to walk or bike to downtown Louisville.
