We held a company party for 15 people on Saturday night and we had a blast! The staff (particularly Greg) were exceptional in helping with the reservation and working with us as the group size continuously changed! They even made a trophy for us to award to the winner of the tournament! The instructors (Jack and I forget the other guy's name) were so helpful and patient and fun! I think we'll be back again as a company and definitely know most people will be returning again on their own. Thanks for a great experience!!!

Quick hits: - Great beer - don't miss the barrel-aged - No need to form a line at the bar - Dog friendly - Rotating foodtrucks Excellent brewery with fantastic variety. But don't make the mistake I made, which was overlooking their barreled beers. All of their beers are very good, but a friend shared a bottle of some apple brandy barrel-aged horchata-style stout and I realized I'd been missing out. Their IPAs are among my favorite beers generally, but don't get blinded. Also a *Hot Tip* that isn't, because there's signage everywhere saying so, but you don't need to line up at the bar. Just treat it like normal bar service and step up. Service is quick and the bartenders have been good, in my experience, at keeping track of who has been waiting. The interior is large and open, and tends to be less busy than the patio, where it can be tough to get a seat on nicer days. Patio is dog friendly, too, but if your dog isn't good at socializing, this will be a tough spot. Lots of people, lots of other dogs.

According to their own site, Bone Up is the smallest brewery in the Boston area. I believe it. It is small, but there is ample seating nonetheless. Most importantly, the beer is excellent in terms of both selection and quality. There is a wide range of styles and ABV, so friends with polar opposite tastes can have an equally great experience. I tried the Joybringer which was so delicious I got another. I also tried my friend's Dr. Frankenstein which was also delicious. Our visit was an impromptu one, having gone for Short Path and Night Shift. Despite having been to Night Shift several times I'd never heard of Bone Up and didn't realize it was just a few hundred yards down the street. We only discovered it as we looked for parking for Night Shift and decided to check it out later during a Night Shift break, which we did. A Short Path-Night Shift-Bone Up excursion definitely makes for an excellent hop.

Encore employees know how to treat guests. I checked in at 2:30 and was immediately given keys to the room. Dinner at Rare was exceptional; Xavier was an attentive server and Tracy never left our water glasses empty. Breakfast at On Deck Burger Bar was excellent. I was lucky enough to win two jackpots. The employer who paid me remembered my name and what machine I won on three hours earlier; that shows how much care is given to players. A huge thank you to the best host, Christa. I am looking forward to returning very soon.
