Nonsuch Park

Nonsuch Park is big enough to stretch your legs and refresh your lungs on a family outing even if some members of the family prefer tarmac paths. Plenty of space for dogs and teenagers to run and play. Passing Nonsuch House and the ornamental garden help to provide something for everyone.

While staying in London, we asked David to plan a day for our family outside the city. He certainly delivered. We had a marvelous day in Bath and the Cotswolds, traveling through small villages and seeing places we'd never go to on our own. David was a safe driver, very punctual, and it was fun to spend a long day with him. FIVE STARS!!!

Visited friends in Ewell, met them in the Wheatsheaf (they are regulars, very regular!).
Very friendly locals and staff, busy but no problem being served. Beers well kept, reasonably priced. This establishment is a classic example of an English pub, its main purpose selling beer. Food menu is an extensive choice of crisps (six flavours!). Had a great evening.

Go Ape Chessington

Visited go ape today with two children 10 & 13. We went on the higher course and loved it. Parts of it were a struggle for the younger one due to her shorter legs getting across some of the obstacles but she done it!
It took over 2 hours but felt like we were only up there an hour.
We did call for assistance at one point and the young lad was helpful and talked us through it.
Zip wires are brilliant, especially the final one.
Good few hours out but very expensive, although felt it was worth it.

Hampton Court Palace

Visit the famous hedge maze, Tudor knot garden and the state apartments at this splendid red-brick Tudor Palace, which is set in formal Gardens and open parkland along the Thames River.

Reviewed By sue473 - kent

Cannot fault anything to do with the organising of the visit & staff all over the palace. I know we were all children once but it would be so nice to have a certain time to visit when there are no loud shouting children spoiling the audio you are trying to listen to. In the end we did the tour in reverse, start at the apartments first. The main area was the kitchens where it affected most. Lovely garden, would aim to visit again when in full bloom but not too many shouting children!
