This place is so cool. A vintage theater that has been modernized with sound and other modern amenities, but retains the beautiful charm of the old world theater including amazing light up ceiling. Live Oregon on the weekends. They also sell alcohol which is a nice plus. Prices are reasonable and it’s truly an experience

Barth Pond is the primary feature in Patriots Park, a lovely community park in Downers Grove. The main function of the pond is to help with flood prevention. In addition, it enhances various recreational opportunities. The pond is surrounded by a blacktop paved path that is about a half mile loop with beautiful landscaping and scenery. The pond is also popular for recreational fishing. Ducks seem to love this pond. Two parking lots provide easy access to the community park. Barth Pond and the park are excellent for family entertainment and enjoyment.

Patriots Park in Downers Grove is a relatively small park but still very enjoyable. The park is centered by a lake (called Barth Pond) which is surrounded by a blacktop paved path that is about a half mile loop. Barth Pond has convenient places for recreational fishing. Ducks seem to love this pond. There is a large picnic shelter and open grass area on the east side of the park, and a well-furnished children’s playground on the west end of the park. A cute little prairie garden was full of flowers on a visit in August. Patriots Park is a nice little park with a variety of options for family enjoyment.
