We arrived in Cubelles on the heels of a big storm which carried sand and loads of seaweed well into the street. The Promenade along the shore was burried in debris brought by the huge waves. Within 48 hours, the city workers had cleaned the mess and brought the beach back to its pristine state. These Beaches are beautifully maintained, even off-season. Congratulations!

We travel a lot off-season, and we are used to finding tourism offices closed. Not in Cubelles; It is open in the morning. Anna went out of her way to tell us what to see and do in the area, providing us with very useful information on public transportation, printing-out train schedules and maps when the tourism office did not have what we needed. All with a wonderful smile

Aunque la Tèrmica por el momento no funciona, antes este era un lugar muy sucio y feo, ahora ha mejorado mucho, hay zona de playa con hierba, es ancha, incluso hay una zona (ojo, solo muna zona, hay parte que no) dejan entrar a la gente con perros. La arena es más gruesa y oscuara (antiguamente era gris casi negra, por la fábrica). La silueta de la Tèrmica es el marco de fondo de la playa.
Para la gente con perros y los que viven cerca, sin mas.

No es muy grande, pero para todos los que hemos conocido a Charlie Rivel, es visita obligatoria, y si teneis hijos pequeños, es un sitio ideal para darles a conocer la vida a este payaso, así como la vida en el circo

Замок был построен на остатках римской виллы. Первые записи о замке были обнаружены в документах 1041 года. Он много раз перестаивался и это очень заметно. В целом, замок не производит какого-то грандиозного впечатления, специально ради него я бы сюда не приехала.

One needs to cross this little park to walk along the shore. It is clean and well maintained. I was, however, disappointed by its size. The brochures present it as a "bird sanctuary", which is probably true, but it is a tiny one.

Es la playa más alejada de Cubelles, tocando a Cunit. Una zona que delante no tiene paseo marítimo, hay un descampado y un parking y el carril bici. Más tranquila, aunque alejada de bares y restaurantes.
Para entrar has de pasar una zona de hierba, que se atraviesa ppor 2 elegantes pasarelas de madera. Es muy ancha hasta llegar a la orilla. La arena es un poco menos fina que en otras playas de alrededor y más oscura, supongo que los años que la Térmica estuvo en funcionamiento hicieron algo al respecto. Pero ahora está limpia, y el agua cubre poco a poco.
No es una maravilla, pero es tranquila, "salvaje".

La Iglesia es un edificio religioso común, sin ninguna relevancia artística, muy simple.
Pero el entorno de la placita donde está,es muy acogedor y hasta cierto punto impresionante, un conjunto muy armónico. Está en la zona más alta del pueblo,así que se puede observar cuando te acercas desde los cuatro puntos cardinales, dando una silueta a Cubelles bella y característica. Ver fotos.
