We almost didn't go because the sign we thought should say 'OPEN" didn't ...but we spent a really fun hour plus inside and outside looking at every kind of historical, odd, interesting item one can imagine...From animals, to vehicles, to a live elk out back...a blacksmith making things out of horseshoes in a smithy shop out back too...antique hearse, fossils, you name it, it is here and if you don't learn something inside then you aren't reading the little blurbs...it was our favorite museum of three we visited on our trip. We understand Mr. Wyman is 86 and we only hope this little gem stays afloat as his passion has been brought to life beautifully.

If you are into history of the old west, then stop by this museum. I especially liked the interesting history on some wild west females. Don't forget to go up stairs and see the old gun, spur and saddle collection.

Ok, it's an open city park. But it's well maintained, shady, pleasant, and fun to look at the "Whittle the Wood" chain saw carvings displayed there.
