I have been to many zoos, but Brookfield never disappoints. I would highly recommend their membership if you live nearby. There is a lot to see so the family has a lot of places to go. I used to have the membership when I lived in Chicago and would just go there to walk around with my daughter. The zoo is educational and relaxing. After leaving the zoo, your kids will be ready for a nap. There is a lot of fun to be had at the zoo!!!

YES YES YES! If you are looking for a fun escape room, with a great staff, and reasonably priced?!? Look no more, you found it! I love this place, my only complaint is we finished all of their rooms and have no more to do....MoreWorking this weekend on the new room design. My husband and I have a hobby of visiting craft breweries when traveling. Recently, we were in the greater Chicago area and found this one. There was a good amount of people there in the middle of the afternoon. We ordered a flight and brought home a growler. The atmosphere was fun and people were friendly. Well worth the stop.

The wife and I had seen this neat little place on Groupon and thought it sounded interesting. Sign us up! We were on our way! Took the tour and the owner was our guide. Third time I've been here. Beers are decent. Atmosphere not bad but no chips, no pretzels. No snacks. When your drinking flights of beer it's nice to have something in between. The popcorn machine was just collecting dust in the corner. They have food trucks at night I'm told but unfortunately it wasn't night. A restaurant on the corner delivers but why should you have to wait. Come on already !!

This is one of the largest indoor team sports facilities available to the public. It has TWO full size soccer / football fields + four full size volleyball courts + a large dedicated pitching / hitting tunnel room, all under one roof. There is an upstairs mezzanine area to watch the action with hard metal benches plus space for camp chairs. The downside is the staff is very rude and unhelpful. Their concession stand upstairs has a very limited selection of health-poor foods. The bathrooms are very, very small for a facility of that size and several (men's room) stalls were out of order.

We went to Toyota Park to enjoy a Chicago Fire soccer game with children and grandchildren. This is the second time that I visited the venue (the first time was a couple of years after it opened). I was pleasantly surprised to find a well maintained, efficiently operated, secure, family friendly venue. The food and beverage vendors were reasonably priced (for a sports venue), easily available, and the food was very good. The staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. In short, our visit to this venue was a totally enjoyable experience. A bit of advice; if attending an evening event find seating on the west side of the venue, otherwise you'll be looking into the sunset.

Certainly, one of the more interesting things about cemeteries is the old architecture and headstones. Resurrection does not disappoint in that regard. The cemetery also has been the site of several sightings of "Resurrection Mary", though I have a feeling that some of the sightings are after a long night of drinking in the local bars.

Found this place by chance, Now I will make the 2.5 hour drive multiple times a year from now on. Wow this place has everything you can remember and more games that you have never seen. I only saw 2 machines turned off and 1 or 2 I played had slight issues with joysticks But the other 600 machine ran flawlessly. I arrived when they opened at 11 am and just like that it was 6 pm and time to leave. Food is close by (next door and across the street) located in a nice area. I even scored an autograph from John Lee, Qbert Creator. I cant wait to come back

When I first started teaching, we went on field trips to the mill every year. However, our numbers became high and they could no longer accommodate such a large group. Definitely take your kids here, there is so much history and it is such an intimate setting. The bottom floor where you see the inner workings of the gristmill is a documented stop on the underground railroad. Powerful pictures are hung on the walls and the mill's significance as this spot is explained. The floor above is the charming shop and where the kids get to see the corn ground into grist. All the kids love this floor, especially because they can get a souvenir! Pick up a bag of the ground corn meal and make cornbread together! Above that is a floor devoted to machinery and above that is a floor with toys and a child's bedroom and lots of hands on things for the kids to see and touch. It's a great day especially in the Fall!
