One of my favorite shopping centers. So clean, such a great group of stores. There is something for everyone here. Salesforce is so friendly in every store I have been in and it you become a member of their shopping club, you get great coupons and specials. For buying a $50 gift card, I received a free $20 gift card. The staff at the welcome center is top notch.

Hurricane Shoals Park & Historical Heritage Village

Hurricane Shoals Park & Historical Heritage Village is a Jackson County owned facility. The shoals were a sacred holy site to the Creek and Cherokee. The Heritage Village is an eclectic collection of historical buildings that have been saved and moved to the park. There is much to do at this attraction. Admission except for mini golf us free.

I was so excited when they opened the covered bridge, to cars and foot traffic. This park is great for bicycling, visiting the historic bldgs that were moved here, challenge putt putt, and sliding down the rocks into the moving river, as we well as traditional picnics and pavilions. I've seen people fish in the calmer water above, but I don't know how they did.

On a weekend trip to Athens, we decided to drive up to Danielsville to check out this little winery. We were greeted by Victor who we talked with the entire time during our tasting. My wife and I really enjoyed the PeachoPeno and bought a couple of bottles to take home. Both Victor and Mary made us feel right at home during our visit. This is a great little side trip from Athens and their wine is very good.

I love the huge medical instruments they have on display. I found the story of Dr. Long interesting, as well as the details about saving his original spot on the town square. But my favorite part of all is the recreated General Store downstairs. Sometimes they sponsor a muisical concert there! That was a fun visit!

Commerce Cinema

Reviewed By CBGeorgia - Jefferson, Georgia

This cinema is very clean and comfortable. Some of the theaters are quite small, which I like since fewer customers means less chance of a cell going off, or a child crying. They have steep inclined floors, which make it easy to see the screen even if a tall person sits in front of you. Several rooms means several movies are showing. And the snacks are priced the same as you would expect.
Especially nice is their location on Hwy 441! So many restaurants are nearby, that it is easy to make a whole date night, with dinner and a movie, or to celebrate something by making an impromptu treat for a kid! Outlet shopping is all around, if you like that too.

My wife and I were visiting Commerce for an child's athletic event. While in town, I wanted to go by the Lodge store to check out what it was like....glorious! I love to cook on my grandmothers hand-me-down 12" skillet and I also use a good old 12" camp dutch oven stove when we go camping. I ended up purchasing a dual griddle/grill and plan on breaking it in at home in the morning #sausage. Great service in the store as well, thanks Lodge!

Reviewed By cheryl h - Durham, North Carolina

This antique mall offers over 50,000 square feet of antiques, vintage, jewelry, collectibles, toys, furniture, new items, etc...basically a little bit of anything you could possible be looking for.

We were greeted with a friendly hello when we walked in. The aisles are wide and clear and the booths are very well organized. I didn't see one cluttered booth. If you are in the area you really should stop by.
