Nice at night, many bars and pubs, looks "western" but still be prepared for Chinese way of thinking and behaving everywhere. During the day quite quiet, not many places are open. Sill nice old houses to see. You can see many photographers making pictures of young couples, a favourite Sunday afernoon activity.

The wetland park is a perfect place if you're into bird watching. But even if not, it's still worth a visit if you are looking for some time to kill and something nice to see. The park was still under development, so some areas were sealed off.
It is easily accessible using public transportation. Bus number 7 westward and exit at the end stop. You won't miss it since the bus will turn around.
Entrance is 60 RMB per adult. Boat ride was free of charge (included in the route), bicycles available for rent, but the area were you can ride a bike is limited.

We have visited this park on June 19th: one of the most dreadful experience you can get in a theme park.
5 "attractions" open out 17 and the ones that were open were in such bad conditions that you need a begging child to dare get on it. Rust is everywhere. Avoid this park by any means!!!
Also, if you stay strong the Dapenshang hotel nearby, don't be fooled by the offer with tickets to the park included...

I move for couple weeks to Cixi city and I am still discover the area and what can I say about this place.... well. I just love parks here. Anad the Zhishan Park is the best!!!!! You can go for running there, trecking the mountain or just take an nice long walk. On the top of the mountain is a great view point for entire city.....Marvelous!!!! And if you continue walk with thiny path you will find the hidden mountain temple. I heard that is a forrbidden place for Cristians.... wonder why... is amazing.

Если есть часа четыре, поезжайте и просто побродите по парку, прокатитесь на лодке и электромобиле. Созерцайте природу, даже не верится, что в регионе где все подчинено непрерывному труду есть такое место. Словами это не описать - здесь надо просто побывать. Не пожалеете.

This place is probably most suited for bicyclists rather than hikers as there are not many hiking trails. However, it still is a nice getaway from the city, walk and enjoy the scenery. There is also a "Budda Valley" temple area (55RMB entrance) that offers some nice paths to walk on, beautiful ponds and historical artifacts from the Qin dynasty.

不错不错，观景台地方较大，还有望远镜观看大桥。今天天朗气清，18层的塔既凉快风景又好，可将大桥全景尽收眼底，还能眺望两岸的宁波和嘉兴。
里面有纪念馆，介绍修建过程及有关资料，可全面了解。
P.S.晴天太阳大，最好带墨镜和伞。
门票有点小贵，可提前2h在美团订观景台＋观景塔套票
里面有自助餐，饭不错。
