This museum has the fantastically important and enormously impressive 'Capestrano Warrior' and associated stuff, which are must-sees. There are other amazing exhibits too, like the lifelike Roman-era bust of an old man, and much else, presented in a very uncluttered way.

We found this Cathedral really fast, but every door was locked and we didn't find out when the Cathedral is open for Tourists. There was no sign or Infopoint. In the evening, as we want to drive away, the door was open. It's glory inside and the decor is special. If you are in Chieti you should definitely visit the Cathedral.

It is really nice spot in Chieti especially if you have a kid like me who is crazy in love with parks and Playgrounds for children. You can also have a nice "l'aperitivo" in the bar at the beginning of Villa if you are coming from centre of Chieti.

This museum does it right. Not only is it rich in history, but it presents it all in an exciting way, through the creative use of sound effects, lighting, etc. A must see for anyone traveling through Chieti.

Chieti mostra il suo più bel biglietto da visita con il suo corso pedonale che taglia in due il centro storico e che vi permette di passeggiare tranquillamente ammirando palazzi storici, piazze con fontane, negozi o di mangiare in tante diverse strutture. C'è anche il wifi gratuito.

Outside it is a majestic structure not to be missed. Inside, like many other churches, it was changed to a Barroque style. However, the crypt has some medieval frescoes very much worth a look.

The Shopping Center is the biggest center of the region Abruzzo and one of the biggest shopping centers of Italy. There are ca. 110 shops, one cinema with 9 halls and 2.800 free parking spaces. The center is located in Localita Santa Filomena, close to the highway A14, A25 and main road Pescara – Chieti. There is a free shuttle service from the central station of Chieti Scalo.

A very good shopping centre, with a huge number of different shops, and not dominated by one or two stores like most Italian shopping centres round here. Worth a visit on a wet day!

Dopo piu di cinque generazioni la passione per la vite ed il vino e arrivata nel 2009 a concretizzarsi nel fondare l'azienda agricola Maligni che si affianca alla pre esistente azienda agricola Savini Maria Assunta ed ancor prima all'azienda agricola Tomei. Il nome Maligni e un appellativo che da oltre quattro generazioni identifica la famiglia Tomei e, secondo le ricerche effettuate, sarebbe da additare ad un contenzioso avvenuto tra l'allora pater familias Pasquale Tomei ed il parroco del luogo. Oggi l'azienda agricola Maligni si estende su una superficie di dieci ettari di vigneti, coltivati principalmente con le varieta Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Pecorino, Cococciola che, per la zona di produzione particolarmente vocata, si distinguono per l'ottima qualita. La nostra cantina e il risultato di una felice simbiosi tra tradizione ed innovazione, per questo l'Arte del nostro lavoro consiste nel trasformare i preziosi doni della natura in vini eccellenti, avendo sempre un occhio di riguardo per l'ambiente e per la qualita. We found this hidden gem from other great reviews on trip advisor and the winery did not disappoint! Fabio was the most accomodating host, we tasted each bottle and were told about the history of the vineyards. We finished the afternoon in the beautiful winery drinking the delicious bottles we purchased, would 100% recommend. Fabio went above and beyond for our group of 6 amigos

Chieti is amongst the most ancient of the Italian Cities. It is said that the city was founded in 1181 BC by the Greeks. It is an extremely old city and a must to visit!

Uno dei maggiori gioielli della cultura abruzzese, luogo di incontro al centro di Chieti tra esperienze teatrali e didattiche, tra compagnie conclamate da successi in serie e piccoli gruppi emergenti che cercano nella recitazione e nella interpretazione delle opere sia in italiano che in dialetto un ampio momento di condivisione. Nato sulle rovine di un'antica chiesa, ispirato al teatro San Carlo di Napoli di cui è un gemello in proporzioni ridotte, più volte restaurato in circa duecento anni di attività, il Marrucino è saldamente nei cuori degli abruzzesi che lo frequentano con devozione ma non sempre in numero adeguato.
