Great walk with a fall ( ha ha ) Make sure you are ready to get wet and your footwear should be strong and water proof to walk over rocks. Great long winding walking trail, seemed unending with beautiful Rain forest kind of surrounding.

Khao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park

We took a day trip here and walked the entire route. You will need a good level of fitness if you intend doing this entire walk, it is not especially climbing down into the cave towards the end ( you really need a touch ) .. Take plenty of water with you. You can also do a much shorter walk to a nice viewpoint that has steps. Being up for a good hike we really enjoyed our day

Nayang Bat Cave

Reviewed By jellyfi5h - Singapore, Singapore

We got there through a local Grab driver whom we booked to drive us around Hua Hin and Cha-Am for 8 hours. Very easy to get there through Google map, look out for the home-made "bats observation" signage outside this house with a small parking pouch. Get on the viewing deck for best views (not wheelchair accessible) and be there early. The bats started coming out and form beauitful long stream towards the same direction for almost 10 mins. The rest comes out scattered outside the cave area thereafter, hence come early to catch this spectacular sight. We were there 45mins earlier. I reckon the house owner built this deck and will be collecting 20 baht per person to use the viewing deck, but there was no one around nor collection tin.

Staying in cha am and decided to go to this market. Held every wednesday. Its a big market that stretches from in front of the cha am railway station down to the first intersection and sideways into the grounds of the nearby government building. Lots of stalls, great food, also clothes, shoes. There are sitdown restaurants/bars where you can sit and watch the crowds. Not so many foreigners, many locals. Good atmosphere, we really enjoyed it.

Mrigadayavan Palace

Look Up Teak Summer Palce Hua Hin

Reviewed By jffoote - Bangkok, Thailand

Mrigadayavan Palace, one of the summer palaces of King Rama VI, is a beautiful and very interesting historic site. You can walk around the palace on a self-guided tour or you can join a tour group. In addition to all of the beauty of the structure and the period items kept in each of the rooms, the grounds are also both peaceful and beautiful. They do have a small snack and souvenier shop near the entrance, and local vendors are also found in the parking area. We visit often when friends from overseas come to see us. If you enjoy a little history, beautiful gardens and a quiet, peaceful 2-4hr diversion, this palace is worth a look. We love it.

Santorini Park

The idea of bedecking buildings in blue as the Santorini style in Greece, though this land is not adjacent to the sea, Hua Hin-Cha Am is considered a city by the sea. So we thought of an island city which is famous and has its own character, and the answer is Santorini. This is because when we see the architecture of this island, we know where it is. Since Santorini is the island city, there must be water. That’s why there are many things here related to water, such as man-made waterfalls, dancing fountains, water balls for children, and green areas. The atmosphere inside is thus very enjoyable.

Daily entry pass is 150baht per adult with one game access. If you would like to visit all the areas as in one of the photos which I have shared, you can do so by paying just a bit more. I forgot the ticket price but it is considerably cheap. The receptionists at ticketing counter could speak chinese. We spent hours in all the photo shooting hotspots and there are several outlets for window shopping. August is a month with expected rain showers daily and Mother's Day in Thailand. There are reasonable and affordable branded consumables. We have visited the 5-minutes 7D ride which are amazing as there are 8 seats in the cinema and all 7 of us occupy the whole cinema.

Swiss Sheep Farm

Small place but worth a visit, especially if you bring kids. We have visited several times and it has become a family tradition to go there when we visit Hua Hin as it’s our kids’ favorite activity in the area. You can feed lamb, alpaca (extra entrance fee) and pet rabbits, ride horses (also extra fee) and while the kids have fun you can relax with a simple meal or a beer at one of the restaurants.
