Centerpoint Legacy Theater

Reviewed By Go2theZoo - Layton, Utah

We attended a production at Centerpoint theater which was held in the Leishman Performance Hall, as opposed to the larger Barlow Theater. The performance itself was very good and I had no complaints about any of that. The seats aren't typical theater seats, they are stacking chairs that you'd find in a church or banquet hall. They're pretty uncomfortable. I don't know if the show we saw was much cheaper than seats in the Barlow hall because they were a gift. If I were to go back, I'd pay whatever extra was required to see a show in the larger theater.

We've enjoyed their services for years. Whether it is either of the pools (kids to competition), the weight rooms, cardio equipment, tracks, or the many classes, this is a nice gathering place for the family, and excellent location for a friendly workout. We've not tried the ice rink, but there are folks regularly there.

Lakeside Golf Course

Reviewed By Bigredmachine

This is an update to a review we did almost two years ago when we rated this course low for their poor customer service. We can report that on this outing, Lakeside had vastly improved their customer service, and the course in general, was improved. The biggest difference was inside, where we encountered Verla, this wonderful women running the pro shop. She is the perfect roll model that every other golf course should study. She was extremely efficient in the way she checked us in and in the way she managed the play; all while being very warm and friendly. It is the type of treatment that makes you feel appreciated and want to comeback and play again. Lakeside is lucky to have a staff member like Verla. The course itself has also been improved. They have removed a lot of the thick weeds and bushes that lined the streams and lakes and overall maintenance has been improved. This is not a challenging golf course and the design is a result of being built in phases over the years, so there is a mixture of hole design types (and green types). However, what is here is being maintained well and was a fun course to play the day we were here.

Lagoon Amusement Park

Lagoon is one of the only family owned amusement parks left in the country. With over 60 thrilling rides, 40 challenging games, live entertainment, a beautiful water park, the largest "kiddie land" of any amusement park in the nation, Pioneer Village, and the Campground, Lagoon offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Reviewed By Motivator535 - Kaysville, Utah

We enjoyed the old rides including the wooden roller coaster, swings, and merrigoround. The new rides, Pioneer village, and the Lagoon A Beach are a must as well.

Come early, but be prepared for pricy parking and expensive food. Plan on all day to venture, and try to take advantage of Bounce back specials.

Tons to do but don't forget the train ride to their little Zoo.

We started at the special exhibition of Nature's amazing machines, flight, body cooling and warming, walking, lifting etc. Interactive displays for kids and adults, and all the displays still worked. We stopped by their Life Section and enjoyed the Tree of Life digital display, the dinosaurs and the large mammal skeletons, and gems. Cherry Hill Water Park

Reviewed By Ioana C - Bountiful, Utah

The park is quite small compared to other water parks, but is very well maintained, with clean bathrooms (I was VERY impressed by this as most water park restrooms are nasty). There are grassy areas all over the park with plenty of chairs for everyone. Also, parking is free and so are the tubes for the lazy river and water slides. You can bring your own food in the park, which is pretty nice. This was our first time visiting as a family and definitely not the last one. We had a great experience.
