Almost nobody is going to enjoy ever performer who plays the Cedar, but if the performers play the type of music you like, it will probably be great. Some shows are standing - usually bands - and some are seated - usually singer/songwriters. The Cedar has the best sound in the Twin Cities, and the audience usually pays attention and does not talk during the performance. It is mostly run by volunteers (including me) with a small paid staff. It's a great place to open your eyes to performers from Minnesota to Africa, and beyond.
