The cooking class is held in the ancient rooms of our family farmhouse in Tuscany ,between Siena and San Gimignano ( 20 min) where wine once used to be produced and kept. You will have the chance to learn how to prepare the traditional dishes which are prepared in our homes for a true Tuscan lunch. We are not professional chefs but we have learnt how to cook from our mothers and grandmothers and this is what we want to share with you. We believe that the best dishes of the traditional dishes of Tuscany are the most simple ones and that the respect and the attention we pay to the quality of the ingredients make all the difference. The dishes we offer are simple and explained step by step so you will easily repeat them once you return home! The museum has two collections. The first is dedicated to Etruscan period: Attic kraters, bronze fibulae decorated with one of the earliest representations of boxing in Etruscan words, urns and vases. The second shows works of important artists from Middle Ages to Baroque: Marco Romano; Giacomo Pacchierotto; Alessandro Casolani and his family. An essential part of the visit to the Museum is in the church "Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta."
