Sekumpul Waterfalls

Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure.

Dalem Jagaraga Temple

This is the shrine to worship the god of death Ciwa or Durga so that when someone dies, his/her soul will depart for the heaven, not meandering on the earth.

Reviewed By melkeet - Ipoh, Malaysia

This temple is located at a village about 11 km east of Singaraja town. My guide tells me that this village was famous for its struggle of independence against the Dutch colonialism . It took us about 25 mints to reach the place. Just like other temples in this region, there were hardly any visitors around, so we had the temple for ourself. The entrance fee was IDR 15,000 excluding the tips for the caretaker. This caretaker who has been mentioned previously in TripAdvisor, approached us and insist on showing us around. He claimed that his anchestors were involved in the war with Dutch. He was very polite and possessed detailed knowledge of the temple. Along the way he explain the history of the temple, the struggle with the Dutch and the meaning of the sculptures. We spent about 1 hour here to see around the place and get pictures of the place. It is a must visit if you are in the vicinity of Lovina or Singaraja. As usual bring along a bottle of water, sun block and a hat. Camera is a must.

Gitgit Waterfall

Reviewed By MADHURKJAIN - Vadodara, India

Lovely waterfall, this was our last stop on the North Bali day tour. As you drive from Ulun Danu to Gitgit, you will drive through a beautiful stretch of road surrounded by greenery on all sides. You have walk up the steep flight of stairs for about 15 minutes before you reach the base of waterfalls. Serene sight with clean water, you can easily relax here for an hour.

Banjar Hot Springs

Reviewed By dylanjacobs - Loughborough, United Kingdom

We travelled here from Kubutambahan. I took my younger brother and my six-year-old son who loved that the water was like a bath! There is also a stunning Buddhist Temple close by and there is an opportunity to buy souvenirs from the stalls on the way in. If you're from England, then you will notice that eh rather is exactly the same colour as The Roman Baths in Bath. We loved all of our bathing experiences in Bali and there are many!

Lovina Beach

Reviewed By kittyj410

I have been visiting Lovina Beach once or twice a year since 2013. The peace and serenity and the beautiful honest friendly people stole my heart on the first visit. Lovina is different from the rest of Bali. Although the sand is black it is fine and clean and most resorts sweep the beach twice daily to remove any rubbish. I love to walk along the beach in the early morning and play with the local dogs and feed treats to them and the cats and chickens and talk to the local people and boatmen. Later in the day you can go on tours to waterfalls, Banjar hot springs, Twin Lakes and the Bedugul temple or go to Singara for the day and explore the port and the town. There is also the port of Gilimanuk in the other direction and Pemuteran for diving and snorkelling and the turtle conservation and breeding farm and the cute monkeys along the way. The pearl farm is also not to be missed. There is a nice walk along the beach into Lovina Central where there is a market and restaurants near the Dolphin statue and then you can come back up side streets to the main Lovina shopping centre and back to your resort down another side street if you are staying at a beachside resort. DO NOT MISS THE DOLPHIN TOUR IN THE EARLY MORNING WHICH CAN ALSO BE EXTENDED FOR SNORKELING LATER OR A SUNSET CRUISE IN THE EVENING. If you want peace and quiet and a relaxing holiday Lovina Beach is the place. All the staff at the resorts are very helpful and I have made some very good friends over the years
