The church was old but well preserved. We were able to meet with the priest after mass and he said a prayer with us. The church is rich in history.

National Shrine of the Divine Mercy

Reviewed By eunsoohuang - Taguig City, Philippines

The place believed to be healing illnesses
The place is big enough to accommodate pilgrims and believers, there is designated area for those with cars. They also have this open chapel with barriers and benches facing the mama Mary with wishing well.
Though I noticed, there's this place- bukal ng kalusugan" small and narrow for a huge number of people.
They have also a place to commemorate Pope John Paul(P10.00 entrance) with his replica and other memorabilia, his life story when his growing up.
The church is quite serene. With big statue of saints and well maintained.
Worth the visit.
How to get there:
I came from Malolos, so I rode a jeepney going to Marilao P50.00 then alight at the highway going to Divine.

This is not just a religious function place. I was part of the audience that broke the world indooraattendance record during the Philippine Basketball Association opening. It is grand that any visitor will have a nice time seeing it and taking lovely pictures. We were here again for the k pop groups Super Junior and Girl Generation. The place has two giant screens for the audience not to miss a single thing. The important thing it has going for it is very new.The biggest in Asia . The single thing they have yet to correct is a system to service the crowd who want to eat without missing anything in the program. The lines are still too long but the experience worth it. A country's pride

San Pascual de Baylon Parish Church

Reviewed By Kaizen1975 - Bacolor, Philippines

Finally, my wife and i had this one great spiritual and cultural experience in our life as a married couple last week in time for the 3 days Feast of the world famous OBANDO Fertility Dance festival which is being celebrated every May 17-19, annually. First day is for St. Pascual for those seeking babies, St. Clare on the second day for seeking partners, prosperity in life, among other wishes and culminates on the 3rd day for Our Lady of Salambao. It was quite a narrow road leading to the church coming from the national highway with limited parking outside the church patio and vendors peddlers all around selling local delicacies, candles for wishers and the eggs as offerings. If one is from GMA, WAZE will direct you at Caloocan and Valenzuela area. We came from the North, so we exited at Meycauayan exit and in less than an hour, we arrived at the Obando town, full of life. Masses were held hourly and we purposely attended the 7am mass which is the mass proceeding the procession where all tourists and locals, childless couples from all walks of life gather to walk, i mean't dance while walking in a less than 3 hour procession around the town. good thing the sun is not really that scorchingly hot. We would like to thank some family members for their generosity in giving us free water and snacks along the way, a welcoming treat for tourists like us. After the procession, the dances continues inside the church. We also had the chance to touch the 3 images at the main altar at the backdoor with staircase going up there. How wonderful witnessing the outpouring of Faith, hope and love.May all our wishes come true. If one wishes to go pls check the weather first, it is a flooding area but its still all worth it.

Big Rock Farm Resort

From fairview, quezon city it took us 2 hrs just to reach the place. Going to the resort is quite inaccessible. It's like driving in the middle of nowhere. The location of the place is in a remote area. Only guest who are checked in are allowed to park their cars inside the resort. However, if not you will park your car outside. So i just better choose a cottage near the parking otherwise it's very tedious. There are 5 big swimming pools to choose from.the cave pool is 5-6ft deep. Plus there are life-size statues of different character. You can bring food inside the resort but if you will use a grill there is a rental fee of php100. The bathrooms are ok except for the shower area. There are trash bin also per cottage.

Amana Water Park

What is now the 2nd most searched summer destination in the Philippines in Google and has removed Pandi, Bulacan from obscurity was once a vision in the mind of Mr. Enrico Roque- the man behind Bodega ng Bayan (a widely established appliance store here in the Philippines) and Tampisaw Beach Resort (in Iba, Zambales). Named after an ancient Syrian River, AMANA Water Park is far from 'ancient' as it boasts the newest: Tsunami Wave- The Best Wave in Asia! 3500-square meter wave pool 40-foot man-made waterfall Infinity pool with Jacuzzi Kiddie pool with life-sized Dragon Ball characters Twin pool with slide Avatar pool Batanes pool Cavepool Zipline Theme cottages (Baler, Boracay, Calatagan, Camiguin, Laoag, Palawan and Tagaytay inspired) Super heroes and Cartoon characters Toy Museum World class services with distinctively Filipino warmth of hospitality, comfort and convenience for a reasonable cost. The concept for AMANA was first envisioned when the sister-resort, Tampisaw Beach Resort in Iba, Zambales was opened on March 28, 2008. A much bigger resort with a more wide-ranging clientele was conceived which will cater to the customer's total enjoyment! Best amenities, world-class services with distinctly Filipino warmth of hospitality, comfort and convenience for a reasonable cost giving value for one's hard-earned money are just one of the many driving force that molded AMANA Water Park to what is today. Immediately after the acquisition of 8.4 hectares rice field property on June 23, 2008- development was then undertaken for what would be AMANA Water Park. To get the best ideas for the theme of the upcoming water park, Mr. Roque went to about 50 different resorts in Luzon to do ocular and get the best ideas that he could incorporate for his project. On August of the same year groundbreaking commenced and nine (9) months after, the vision was realized in the opening of the AMANA Water Park on March 28, 2009. To date, AMANA has been able to cater to its maximum capacity of customer at an unbelievable 10,000 visitors in a given time- proving that in such short a time the Water Park had reached its maximum potential.
