This is just a wonderful place. It has a walking tour for the 1st Battle of Manassas, and a driving tour of the 2nd battle. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

We tried this winery last weekend for the first time, in part because of its close proximity to Washington. The Winery boasts an extensive tasting area, plus high and low tables for more extended wine tasting and light snacks. The grounds of the winery include vines for the winery’s Norton grapes, picnic tables, and additional space for special events such as weddings.
The wines in our tasting ranged from good to very good, and the staffers with whom we spoke were friendly and responsive.

Saw One Republic here and sat under the tent. Great experience. Good and varied food. Also saw one concert from the lawn and that was all fine....there is room to spread your legs. Nice crowd. Food prices even decent. The parking! What can I say...bring a porta pot and after concert snacks and just look at the stars!

This is my go to movie place. Took the boys (5 and 6) and had a great time. They serve alcohol now though I don't know that I'd partake. If a soda is 7 bucks I can't imagine what booze costs!

My spouse and I decided to visit OBH, after hearing about how awesome this Brewery was from a friend! We are from Hampton Roads, Virginia, so we stayed at my grandfathers cabin in Louisa and just made a weekend trip out of it! Vint hill was having a festival the day we arrived and we decided we would go to the brewery and then the festival however, this amazing place had other things in store for us! Upon entering they have a dog friendly, beautiful terrace outside sitting area! When you walk into the front door, we were flabbergasted at how Big their tap room was! There was a long line, that we hopped right into! There was a room off to the left side of the entertainment stage that looked to be holding a wedding of some
Sort! Super cute! We get to the counter and immediately we're greeted with enthusiasm! We ordered one small flight of misc. and found a standing round table to enjoy them on! We could'nt believe how awesome they were, so we hopped back into the long line for another flight of different brews! Then after finishing that flight and loving it, we decided we needed more, and yet again hopped back into line! At this point we decided to sign up for a tour, as we wanted to learn more! We started to get very hungry and thought about going to the festival next door, until we noticed some people with food. We politely asked them where they got it and to our surprise they have a whole food truck area in the back of the tasting room with tables and chairs outside etc! "The French guy" was the foodtruck there that day and oh my goodness with was so amazing!! When we first got it the chicken looked a little dry(which I hate), but the look on my spouses face when he took his first bite, made me anxious to try! That was the single most delicious sandwich I've ever eaten! The chicken was sooooo juicy it was indescribable! At the this time we realize we will prob miss our tour unless we choke our food down, which we didn't want to do! so we signed up for the next one 2 hours later! What was supposed to be a half day retreat for us, ended up being a
Whole day of amazement! After relaxing, talking, buying gear, and drinking we went on our tour, where Kevin was informative! I love how environmentally friendly OBH is! We were wowed by their equipment etc! Everyone was so kind(Kevin, Jeremy, Mark, etc). The Brew is the best I've ever had! Seriously so good! It's very rare that I like every beer on tap that a brewery provides, but I feel in love with OBH! I also got my hands on their raspberry and Margarita sours and omg!! Me or my guy are not really sour(goes) fans but we loved these! Good job OBH! Keep up the amazing work. You haven't been around for to long, but you will thrive!!!! Thanks for an amazing weekend, with amazing beer! We are def spreading the word down where we live!

This station is over 100 years old and is one of the busiest AMTRAK stops in the area. It funnels a lot of people who live in Northern Virginia but work in Washington DC. The small station offers parking, an ATM, payphones, ticket vending machines and newspaper racks. it is in the heart of Old Manassas, just a block from a number of restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. If you want to avoid the horrible traffic of Washington DC and its suburbs, this is a wonderful town where you can plan exploring Northern Virginia, the Appalachians and even DC itself.

I have probably played Prince William Golf Course more than any other course. I live within 15 minutes and the greens fees are quite reasonable; especially if you are a senior, have The Tee Time Golf Pass or have their Advantage Pass. I have rarely spent more than $30 for weekday greens fees (I do have Tee Time, am a senior and have the A.P.) It is well run and well maintained. I play from the forward tees which is a big advantage on some of the holes (nos. 2,3,5,7,10 12 but not 13 as they moved the senior tees back to the whites for some reason, 15, 18). But anyway, the biggest complaint, which makes this course a bit more challenging, are the greens. They are well maintained but flat they ain't. Very undulating, slanted and difficult; on some of the greens, if you putt the ball just a little too much (nos. 4, 11, 16, 17 come to mind), the ball will roll completely off the green. Despite this "situations" it is a course I enjoy playing very much and recommend it.

My husband and I finally went by a few weeks ago. If you like craft beer (which I don't) then you might really love this place. It is simple -- it serves beer (and bottle water and they have a few bags of individual beers) and has loud music and chairs. That's it! So if someone in your party doesn't like beer (like me) you get to sit there and drink water which is a bit awkward. My husband loved the beer but there just wasn't anything of interest for me. When I went to Old Bust Head they brew their own Root Beer that I could have. Maybe they should at least sell a few sodas for the significant others who don't like beer. They also closed really early like 9 on a Friday night. Would my husband go again -- yes. Would I -- no. So probably just order it when it is on tap at some other establishment.

A great place to learn more about the distillery side of how these outgoing friendly guys make gin, whisky and other liquors. We did the tour, got some history, and got to sample a huge quantity of taste tastings which was phenominal. Their mixing is quite good and if you can imagine, they can create it. A nice little bar area for patrons to enjoy libations, and easy to find.

The museum closes at 5:00, with my arrival at 3:40. If I wasn't delayed by traffic problems, arrival would have ben 3:00. Two helpful ladies made my visit easier than expected. The museum focuses before, during & after the war. Exhibits will be displayed in the open or glass cases. Exhibits can be the subject farming, cotton, slavery, women's fashions early 1800's to 1900, clothing on both sides, care of the wounded, the Iron Horse-the railroad-& a few rifles/muskets. Photos fill in when exhibits aren't available.
The part I didn't have time to view was a sport exhibit, different baseball uniforms from different decades. A small gift shop in the lobby. A visitor will find no large crowds. For some reason my GPS unit directed me a high school parking lot. On your arrival if the high school is on your left, drive straight to the next block. The museum will be located on the left
A visit is recommended. Any history/civil war buff will enjoy a visit, just arrive 3:00. A visit should no more than one hour. Plenty of free parking. Admission is free, with donations appreciated. One of my first questions was-is photography permitted? Yes was the answer, however NO FLASH.
