We stopped here to taste some beer and enjoyed setting outside to enjoy the venue. I enjoyed the flight we had onsite and we bought bottles to take home.

Lots of guests had their dogs and everyone seemed to be enjoying a place their dogs could come. Lots of parking. A gift shop.

Definitely easy place to find. Would go again.

We had actually scheduled to stop here and tour the farm and cheese making process. Unfortunately, my husband hurt his foot, so instead we opted for a cheese and wine tasting on the patio. It was a nice day, and a relaxing time. Family owned and operated, the staff were friendly and informative. We had first had this farm's cheese at another winery and really loved the Bonnt Corners. We tried five from the tray, all served with good crackers and various accompaniments, almonds, guava paste... Our favorite remained the Boont Corners, although we enjoyed the Bollies Mollies and Velvet Sister as well. Wasn't impressed with the wines we tasted, but we really enjoyed our visit. Next time we are in the area, we'll try and meet the goats.

Goldeneye Winery

With an enticing view of vineyards and Redwood trees, Goldeneye Winery is a beautiful location to sample and savor some of Anderson Valley's most represented Pinot Noir wines. Our Visitor's Center features picnic facilities and an open-space area offering seated wine tasting experiences daily, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting).

Have been visiting this winery for several years. Very disappointed today. Arrived and asked if we had reservations which we did not and have never needed. Told we could sit inside or a long uncomfortable table on the deck. There were 4 empty tables in the courtyard that all said reserved. The sad thing is two of the tables remained empty the entire time we were there. When we were leaving there were four empty tables. Basically we were ignored everyone around us was offered cheese except us. I would never consider joining there wine club when you can go to total wine and get most of the wine. I feel that for $30 for the two of us we were not treated nicely. Shame on them we used to love this winery.

A small family owned and operated winery and tasting room in Boonville, Anderson Valley specializing in Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir wines. Moderately priced and all estate fruit grown just down the road from the winery in the Charles Vineyard. You will taste with the winemaker, Joe or his wife/partner Kristy. Their Pinot Noirs range from light and fruity to big and bold...and are all delicious. There is a picnic area and wine is available for sale by the glass to enjoy with your lunch.

Petit Teton Farm

So glad I stumbled upon this farm off Hwy128 when I was traveling thru Anderson Valley. There are signs on the side of the road telling you to stop by for fresh farm products from all the things they grow. At first I was a little shy, but after ringing the bell, I found one of the owners Nikki, picking weeds along side her farm workers, which really impressed me because I could tell right away that they treat their workers with respect.
Nikki took me into their commercial kitchen where they have rows of products that they pickle, can & ferment. This family run organic farm is very much about educating the consumer and she explained to me the different process between jam, jellies, butters & preserves!
Prices can be premium but the quality of their products is impressive- these are artisanal food products. The difference is they grow almost everything they make except for ingredients like sugar & flour- it really made me reflect about how our food in urban areas should taste without all the chemicals and pesticides. Their blackberry jam for example, had only 3 ingredients; organic berries, organic lemon juice and organic sugar. Their fresh farm eggs taste different than store bought eggs, the shells are tougher to crack and even the color of yolks is different. In addition they also sell meat products like squab & sausage from the animals harvested on the farm. They showed me their smoker where they hand make their super delicious bacon.
They sell at the Boonville & Mendocino Farmer's Market and in SF - their son comes into the city once a week to sell at the Clement Farmer's Market, so I look forward to restocking there. I only wish their website was more up to date, so I can order online with the push of a button, in case I miss making the trek across town on the weekend. This undiscovered gem is my new stop whenever I'm in the area, with the merging of Amazon & Whole Foods you never know what the future holds for small family farms like this one

We're on Highway 128 half way between Boonville and Philo in Anderson Valley. Yellow house and yellow barn, a burgundy roof. Predictably, the sign out front says "Breggo." Our tasting room is open daily from 11 AM to 5 PM.A generous porch surrounds the tasting room, appointed with chairs and picnic tables. We encourage visitors to sit down, relax and enjoy some wine, take in the views. Time slows down here. Bring your pups and your picnic!

We enjoyed our tasting at Breggo, it was fun and laid-back.
Atmosphere: The tasting room is well appointed with a small table at one end next to a door to the wine barrels. It was empty when we arrived, and the staff was freindly, attantive and they made for a very non-pressured tasting.
Wine: They have some excellent pinots, the Gowan and Ferrington are my favorite single vineyard bottles and their basic pinot is good. They also serve whites, and other reds, syrah.
Service: great service, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. They go out of their way to make sure that you have the best experience. There is little pressure to purchase, but the wines are great so.....
Overall, a good wine tasting experience.

Although upon arrival, I wasn't certain, things worked out.
When I walked in, there were people seated at most seats at the "bar" leaving only single seats available. There was also one couple at a table. I selected a table and took a seat. A few minutes later, my husband joined me at the table. We noted that another couple appeared to be leaving the bar and were discussing whether to move there.
Another couple came in and were seated at a table and given glasses by the staff. Since we had still not been approached by any staff, this confused me and as I was moving toward the bar one of the ladies set 2 glasses out for us.
Then we were unsure whether the couple was leaving and hesitated to take the glasses back to the table.
I think it turns out that our uncertainty may have appeared as if we weren't sure or settled in to have a tasting. As soon as we were settled, everyone was lovely and our taste progressed. So, if you aren't accustomed to tables in your tasting room, know that the staff will bring your taste selection to you at their tables if that is where you choose to sit. On a related note, if you are taking seats at the bar, leaving one empty on either side of your party makes it uncomfortable for anyone else.
The wines are lovely, the seating at the "bar" made for nice conversation with other tasters, and their view is exceptional. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and nice to talk with.
We highly recommend this vineyard. Had we been to the site earlier in our trip, we would have purchased wine to take back to the house for our stay!
