Chocolate Hills Natural Monument

When you were in Bohol and you did not see the Chocolate Hills you were not really in Bohol. This product of nature really looks great and it’s not only a monument for Bohol also for the whole Philippines. At the Visitor-Center you have the chance to walk about 200 stairs, then you have a nice view from upstairs and there you can also see that they have many of this hills!

Bohol National Museum

It is a combination of natural history and cultural museum. An entire section is dedicated to the rehabilitation of the old church buildings damaged during the earthquake. There are unique exhibits from excavations around the island yielding insights into Bohol's past. We went there before the opening of the upper gallery. I'd be interested to go see again to see what's new.

If you are sort of a daredevil then going to this place in Bohol is a must! Danao Adventure Park offers caving, zip-line, rappelling, kayaking and other high-adrenaline activities like my favorite, the plunge (a canyon swing adventure that calls for you to free fall for over 45 meters before being launched into a pendulum swing, 100 meters wide). Note: This ia not for the weak-hearted ones.

Tarsier Conservation Area

As a thunderstorm passed over , our private Bohol Day Tour stopped into the Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area , after visiting other local tourist attraction Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area ... is a protected forestry park , for the tremendous project in the preservation & husbandry of Tarsiers Tarsiers ... are a cute , little , tree dwelling primate , with instinctive large eyes that help with it’s nocturnal instincts by maximise the available night lights Some other interesting fact about the Tarsiers • Tarsiers eyes are heavier then their brains • Tarsiers have the biggest eyes of all mammals - compared to their body size • Tarsiers are carnivores- watch your fingers ???????? The forest like trees in this protected sanctuary , are populated with nocturnal insects , that make up the Tarsier's diet Disappointedly on the day we visited , as still heavy raining ... plus being near midday ... understandably the little Tarsiers were hiding under the foliage Through this conservation area , are the goat-track sealed walkways , used to observe the Tarsiers from ... with conservation staff spotters , helpfully directing visitors to the hard to find Tarsiers Totally worth it Would have liked to have taken better photos ... not easy with the rain & iPhone

Our Loboc River Cruise , Bohol ... was with Busai Monark Floating Resto Sadly after a quick online research ... I couldn’t find the latest price for this scenic Loboc River Cruise ( as cruise prices are subject to change ) ... as our delightful on board feed & trip up the river & back ... was part of the cost of our Private Day Tour of Bohol Island - which included other interesting tourist attraction Whatever the price , I still highly recommend this pleasant short river cruise ... as it’s a great stopover & feed , during any Bohol interior travel & sightseeing tours The Loboc River Floating Restaurant Cruise ... starts at the Loboc River Tourist complex - there’s also another floating restaurant cruise start much further down river , near the coast , by Loay Bridge This appreciated Loboc River cruise ... usually runs for an hour or so , back and forth This gives you enough time to eat your buffet on board meal & photos / selfies ???????? Plus on the way up river , stopping by the river shore ... to watch an entertaining Filipino Cultural Dance group - Gotozon-Balsa Performancer’s Association I really Enjoyed the outdoor fresh air during the cruise ???? with the scenic greenery along the riverbank

Sipatan Twin Hanging Bridge ... are impressive , twin bamboo bridges , that cross the upper scenic Loboc River , Bohol ... around 36 kms east outside Tagbilaran City On the day we visited this Bohol tourist attraction , a thunderstorm had just passed ... therefore was told , “ unsafe to fully cross due to slippery & my body weight ???????? “ so I was only able to walk part way ... each step I took , I could feel & hear the woven bamboo bridge slat decking creaking ???????? Originally these bridges were constructed by using just bamboo & rope ... thankfully today ???? the rope has has been replaced by steel cables - safer ???????? The bridge spans across Loboc River by around 40 meters ... with being around 25 meters above the river Of the 2 bridges & from the bridges , you can take some interesting & beautiful photos ... worth the trip Most Bohol Day Tours stop off at the bridges ???? Before the bridges were built , the locals usually had to cross the Loboc River by Banca Boats & floating bamboo rafts There is a fee to cross the bridges , unknown cost , as the cost is within part of our Day Tour Walk across if you dare ????????
