Went to the Ocoee Inn for the first time with a bunch of Tennessian natives. We had a great time on the river and really enjoyed the guiding experience delivered by our captain Zach. We would highly recommend visiting the Ocoee Inn, and we're definitely coming back!

High Country Adventures

High Country Adventures has been rafting on the Ocoee River since 1978. We offer trips on the Middle Ocoee with up to Class IV rapids - The Class III and IV rapids tumble down 269 feet during the course of the 5-mile ride, which continuously traverses such colorfully named stretches at Double Suck, Tablesaw, and Broken Nose. The rough-riding waters flow through steep, scenic gorges lined with pine forests before paddlers take on the last ferociously frothing waters at Hell Hole. For those feeling even more adventurous we offer full river trips that include Class V rapids and the Olympic Course from the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. High Country Adventures also offers cabins, campgrounds, caving & rock climbing trips as well as a low ropes course great for team building. We look forward to helping you plan your adventure!

I took a party of five, mom(celebrating her 50th), dad, brother, brother's fiance, and myself for our first time ever white water rafting adventure with High Country Adventures. Best Decision! We had never gone but Sarah instructed us so well and had such an awesome energy that we were by far the loudest out of all of the groups. It was so much fun because she made it awesome and made sure we were safe and we had dance parties when the river was calm and I got to experience something that I'll keep as a surprise when you choose Sarah. And all the guides were super awesome and fun and everyone was safe. Thanks Sarah, we'll see you next year!

Savannah Oaks Winery

We found this winery on our first visit to the wonderful Mennonite farm and bakery just past it. There are many good reasons to go. They have a gift shop, also sell local cheese and Amish butter, fudge, pickles,jam... But the wine! Ohhh the wine is amazing! My favorite is blackberry, which is very good for you! My "House wine" is "Home for the Holidays", have been known to gift these and buy by the case. They have a nice selection of sweet and dry wines, tasting is free, can purchase a keepsake wine glass. Nice facility is available for events, is family owned and everyone is friendly. Feels like a drop in on friends to go and we never skip it. Fun to take home veggies, baked goods, fresh eggs, wine and cheese all from TN! Not far away are two other wineries, a mushroom farm, a cheese factory. All near Sweetwater with 3 good restraunt options, plus antiquing! Between Knoxville and Chattanooga, make a day of it!!

I've gone down the Ocoee with this company for the past four years. I've never experience quite such a charming and friendly company to travel with. Every single guide was amazing! They knew the river so well and had a personality to make it so much fun!! Big Frog Expeditions is the only rafting company that still feels like family when you go. I will never raft down this river without them! My guides Alex, Paul, and a few others were all hilarious and really took the time out of the trip to make sure we had fun! We did everything we could on that river.

Love love love them!!

Cherokee Rafting

Cherokee Rafting was one of the first companies to begin rafting the Ocoee River. Our company started in 1978 as a family-run operation, and still running strong today. Guests love our rough cut, hand-constructed outpost/store located along Hwy 64 just outside of the Cherokee National Forest and Chilhowee Mtn. Our goal is that every guest of Cherokee Rafting will leave with the desire to return with family and friends. We specialize in all sizes and types of groups, including: church youth and young-at-heart groups, association groups like scout troops and rotary clubs, in addition to business team-building groups.

I've rafted the Ocoee with Cherokee Rafting multiple times and have never been disappointed. This past weekend was no exception. I did a middle trip with a group of girlfriends and Caleb was our guide. He made sure we were prepared, safe, and having a great time for the duration of the trip. The only thing that would have made the trip better was having gone on the full river trip! We'll definitely be back soon. Thank you!

My son and I were in Ocoee, TN to go white water rafting and decided to add Ziplining as a last minute add on. Ocoee Zipz were well organized, fun and made even the most nervous zipliners feel at easy with great jokes, safety checks galore and all around fun. I highly recommend them.

I was in Tennessee for a softball tournament. Not knowing our schedule exactly we could not plan too far ahead. Quest was the only group that accommodated us and gave us a great group rate. The location was easy to get to. The staff was amazing. Shout out to Jared, Maggi, DMJ, and Alex. Our guides were fun, experienced, and knowledgeable. They did a great job telling us about the river in addition to teaching us how to work as a team. An amazing team building and bonding experience. The gift shop is dangerous but great prices for the quality of merchandise. The changing facilities were very clean and large enough to handle a crowd. The photographs are priceless and while they cost the options were not cost prohibitive unlike the softball tournament photographs. We did the 1/2 day trip which for us was enough and fit perfectly into our time slot. I would go back again and if I had time I would do the day trip.
