L'Aquashow

Come and discover the mysteries of the depths of the Brittany sea in our aquarium : conger eels, lobsters, rays and sharks, seahorses, etc. The Atlantic will surprise you! You can see over 150 species in 1,800m2, with giant tanks, a touch pool, a discovery zone, even a fish nursery, etc. Brittany's coast and ocean will keep none of their secrets from you. Wonder at our bird show. Within a beautiful park situated at the mouth of the Goyen river, birds are displayed flying freely, they may even skim over your head! This 45 minutes presentation is divided into four parts : birds local to the estuary, diurnal birds of prey, nocturnal birds of prey, and the Great Cormorant. (French spoken)

A really good aquarium (and being a marine biologist I'm fussy!), good interpretation and a good variety that seemed well looked after. Some great local species (loved the orange lobster). And of course the birds too - that was a bonus. As for the show - brilliant! Been to see owls etc before, but this was really something unique with the characterful egret and the marvellous cormorants. More fish anyone? Lovely staff, a gift shop, and a restaurant which was really acceptable. Would happily recommend and return.

We rent kayak, canoe or stand-up paddle for 3 hours. We are also offering lessons of stand up paddle or wave-ski (kayak surf) and trips in the company of a monitor. Finally, we propose course for children from 4 years old.

Went there almost by mistake after refusing to pay a fortune to park at Pointe du Raz.
This really is a place not to miss. A really cracking headland, a walk across heather moors and high, craggy cliffs reminiscent of Scotland's Western Isles. The sea looks amazing at all times, but is particularly spectacular during storms. There are several paths around to the point, and if you're brave, you can climb down to find absolute solitude on the cliff tops.
There's not the crowds you'll get at Pointe du Raz, the car park is free - and there's a nearby café. I recommend you take a picnic though, it's more fun.

Audierne Yachting

Reviewed By Joamiche - Hong Kong, China

A pleasure sailing boat trip between Audierne & Ile-de-sein, through reefs where only local fishermen go; thks to Rene the Skipper, who knows the area since being a kid, while acting safely; Being taken care for lunch with local produce & for breakfast with fresh baguettes, with advises of things to do on l’Ile-de-sein (we experienced kayaking); Moreover, Rene Savin speaks English.
Truly, Audierne-Yachting is a must as an activity in the Audierne Region !
