This location is a nice-sized park. There are certain spots where the family can have a nice picnic with benches and tables of the sort as well as some bbq grills available (be sure to bring charcoal and all the fixin's).
The park per se, has a sense of a bit old. it has seen its better times past, as they probably dont have enough funds for good maintenance. A bit run down, yet enough to spend a few hours with the family and have a nice "tochito" (flag football) or "cascarita" (Soccer) family game. ENJOY!

This has long been one of the World’s great museums. Everything about it is beautiful. Wondering in an out of the dramatic exterior and interior spaces, an architecturally brilliant and dramatic courtyard covered by what must be the world’s largest free-standing canopy - all held by a single post, like an umbrella - one is awed by the thousands of mesmerizing relics, artifacts and the pieces of monolithic art, all testament to remarkable ancient civilizations, now largely destroyed. The impact is unforgettable. One question kept creeping into my mind in this third visit: Where is the gold? Was it taken to Spain?

I highly recommend Chido Tours. My girlfriend and I recently booked a day tour to the Basilica de Guadalupe and Teotihuacan and had the best time. The tour guide, Sandra, is very personable, charismatic, and knowledgeable. She provides history and insights into the places we visited. From the old churches to the ancient ruins of Teotihuacan, we learned so much about the places we visited and being there was awe inspiring.
The tours are fairly small (6 to 8 people), so it is almost like you have your own personal guide. Our group was really fun and we all enjoyed touring together... so much, in fact, that a number of us signed up for another tour to do together a few days later.

Interesting history museum of the life of Adolfo López Mateos. The museum includes history of the time during Adolfo López Mateos's presidency and his accomplishments. As the president of Mexico Adolfo López Mateos promoted the creation of the Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of Anthropology.
The museum is nicely designed with objects of Adolfo López Mateos including his two cars and many of the objects of his presidency.

Good place to visit on a Sunday, in combination with Tenayuca. The place has a small museum and pyramid. I think because there are such few visitors, if you speak Spanish without a noticeable accent they will let you in for free, otehrwise, I believe it is 45 pesos as of January 2018.

Zona Arqueologica Tenayuca

Reviewed By Pixxidix - Mexico City, Mexico

The Tenayuca pyramid offers an interesting halfday trip from anywhere in the center of Mexico City. From Polanco it will take you approximately half an hour by uber, thouh you could use (at least partially) public transportation. Cost as of January 2018 was ca. 150 pesos one way for uber.
Small site and museum, but very few visitors and makes for a nice halfday trip. There are some additional ruins approximately 250 meters walking distance with a small market on Sundays. To be honest the second site is not really worth it. Free for residents of Mexico on Sunday,
3km further there is the Santa Cecilia Acatitlan site, which combines a minimuseum of a former country house and a small pyramid, that you can actually climb up to.
