Chesapeake Sailing Tours

We are a charter sailing business in the Annapolis Md.and Chesapeake Bay area. We would love to take your group of up to four people out for a sail on the Chesapeake Bay! We have a very fast, fun, and stable trimaran called Dragonfly that we use to sail in the Annapolis area. Whether you want to go for a sunset sail, or a day charter, we will do our best to meet your needs!

Reviewed By Keeaden - Arlington, Virginia

Captain Dan and his Dragonfly sailboat made for a perfect Saturday afternoon in July on the Chesapeake! All-in-all, we could not have asked for a better trip for 3 hours less than an hour from Washington DC and Baltimore. Capt. Dan made it comfortable and fun. Best of all, it was just the three of us!

My wife had never been on a sailboat, so I wanted to take her out for our 1st wedding anniversary. I saw lots of other sailing cruises, but none where we would have the boat and the crew to ourselves for a reasonable price.
Captain Dan picked us up right on time. His boat is clean, well maintained, and can reach a pretty good speed (for a sailboat) if you want him to make it happen. He was very attentive, professional, and informative. We met him at the Deep Creek Restaurant where he picked us up and he spent a few minutes giving us the safety briefing before we left.
We took a 3 hour tour of the river and the Chesapeake Bay just North of the Annapolis Bay Bridge. Capt. Dan offered bottles of cold water and he gave us pointers on what was going on. He allows people to bring snacks and a few drinks. He let us steer the boat for most of the trip.
Can't wait to go again!

Severna Park Lanes

Reviewed By Kaitlin S - Arnold, Maryland

I have been going here since I was a child. They keep the place clean and functioning. The electronic scoreboards haven't gotten any less tedious, but they are easy enough. They've added many varieties of beer. We only had one qualm when the girl at the beer counter tried to tell us that they don't accept passports. A passport is much more legitimate than an ID/driver's license that can be faked. It's government issued as opposed to MVA issued. How was my friend from overseas supposed to get a driver's license all because a bowling alley server won't accept a passport? It made no sense and thankfully she let the issue go. A change of policy is needed there.

Bay Hills is a spectacular value for a very well designed course. You can use all the clubs in your bag around this 18 and it is usually busy but not over crowded. I wish they had a practice facility but the prices are so low that this inconvenience is easily overlooked. The cafe upstairs is simple and too the point and just what you need after 18. Thanks for so many affordable good times Bay Hills.

St. Anne's Church

Reviewed By Patrick M - Conestoga, Pennsylvania

We stepped into the church for a look around. It was interesting. The stained glass was quite nice. The space is not too ornate...nor as old as I expected given its prominent placement in this very hectic town.

It was worth the stop, but is not an imperative sight to see in town.
