The Masada fortress is impressive with its water system and other features that made it a comfortable refuge for kings and then after a period of abandonment, the fleeing Jews. It's height was not enough to keep the enterprising Romans away, and when the Jews saw they would soon be overcome, they decided they would rather die by their own hands. The views from the fortress are far, the walk down takes about 12 hour.

My name is Shannie Paine and I am a traveler at heart. After I studied the history and theology of Israel I realized that this land is like no other. A trip to Israel should be a fun, exciting and inspiring adventure – seeing the sights, taking in the culture, exploring traditional roots and just letting loose. I invite you to contact me and allow me to guide you as you fall in love with Israel.
We have hired guides around the world and none have ever compared to Shannie. This man’s breadth of knowledge (history/politics/religion/geography etc) and his ability to share it in such a captivating way is truly unparalleled!!! He is full of charisma and made our trip through Jerusalem and the Dead Sea our best yet!
Shannie kept things interesting, always had insider tips on where to go.. and most importantly where to eat! He is full of great stories and at the end of the trip you feel like you have a new good friend... and we feel lucky to have him!
If you want to truly understand and enjoy this complex, dynamic country, you need to hire Shannie!!!! You can thank me later!

Arad has several galleries, including this glass museum which houses the work of a local artisan. Worth a visit, but is only open from late morning to later afternoon. So plan on visiting after returning from a sunrise climb of Masada (after breakfast and a quick nap).

FLOW is a warm and open house for Yoga and Pilates, located in the Judean Desert town of Arad. For us Yoga is a path towards strength, a tool for creating a new connection between body and mind. For us, Yoga presents the perfect way to devote some time for yourself, and it is this mindset which we wish to pass along. It is extremely important for us to keep our Yoga practices accessible to all,
cool yoga studio and teachers, everyday day few classes in different yoga styles. I've paid 50 his for single amazing class. I've got very tasty tea after the class, located next to kaparuzka , the best restaurant in the all region.

Followed the green route. It was a 9km hike. We covered it in about 4 hours. Involves a lot of climbing up and down Some areas required a bit of hands-on climbing.
