Immaculately kept, flowers, grounds, buildings. Great hiking trails with lots of trees. Gift shop, butterfly interactive area with very knowledgeable, friendly staff. There are areas for gorgeous outdoor weddings. Very educational for kids and parents too. Run by Melinda & Paul and lots of volunteers. It's truly a treat- & if you have kids and live anywhere near I highly recommend the yearly pass. The grounds are ever evolving. A terrific place to get out into nature and learn a few things.

Established in the 1800s, Silver park still holds on to some of the features from its origins. You surrounded by stone columns left over by days gone by. A pond, fireworks, Christmas lights and balloon launches are just a few of the attractions to look forward to during your visit. Plenty of shelters are available for picnics or get togethers.

Jupiter Studios is a wonderful music venue with great sound and a beautiful renovated 1925 art deco building. Live Music 4 nights a week, Local Artists works displayed, rotating monthly. Excellent food: organic pizza and salads, and good beer selection. A great night out for less than the price of one ticket to the opera and more fun! We just accidentally lucked into this place as we were traveling down the road. I wish I lived near so I could come for music and other events they hold. I see they have a magic show coming up....sounds like a blast. And the food is way above average....non GMO, hormone free offering vegan alternatives as well as gluten free choices. I had the three bean burrito and it was top drawer. My husband had the hamburger and it was really good as well. I loved the atmosphere...sort of artsy and funky.

I used to work there. I was the Alliance City School District superintendent of schools. One of the things that attracted me was the Glamorgan Castle. Built in 1903 with 23 train car loads of quarried marble from the state of Vermont, the 'castle' had an indoor swimming pool, two bowling allies, and enough rooms it will take an interested observer several hours to tour it in detail.

The museum is located in a former bank in the downtown area. Parking is available at the side of the building. I loved the modern, clean, wide open space, filled with light. There are a lot of paintings, ceramics, figurines, furniture pieces, and a collection of cat dolls, and vintage cat carriers.. There is a library you can browse through the books and learn about the history of various breeds and the care of cats. A very small area serves as a gift shop and items were reasonable. No live cats, however there are a few occasions during the year live cats are on the premises. There are many antique stores within walking distance that are fun to visit.

I surprised my husband with an adventure of a lifetime...skydiving! Drove 3 1/2 hours to get to Canton Air Sports.. my husband jumped and boy did he have fun. Afterwards, Rodger the owner/pilot said the video guy who does the videos was not there that day and it would be mailed to us. Mind you the day before i spoke to Rodger who said we can pick our own music to the video and the cost is $80.00. So, we said ok, paid for the video and left. 2 weeks went by and no video. Called Rodger who said the video was mailed out...1 more week went by still no video. Called Rodger, said he will check on it and if i dont get the video by the following monday to call back. Monday came WEEK 3 now. I waited til wednesday to call back. Spoke to Rodger who told me he doesnt understand why im not getting the videos and assured me he would send a third video priority mail. I said no, dont mail it, ill send my husband up there to pick it up personally. Now Rodger says, ehhhhhhh.....we dont have you video. Cant find it. So you have been lying to me for 3 weeks leading me on...all he can say is im sorry. Rodger is a compulsive lier who lied to me over and over again. Company is shady and ran very unprofesionally. Video guy is a 16 year old who didnt care either about our experience. I would NOT reccomend this company to anyone. Now my husband does not have the video to show friends and family and we dont have another $300 to jump again. Canton Air Sports, you are all pathetic!
