Bojo beach is located at the delta of the Densu River and the Atlantic Ocean next to a fishing village. To access the beach, one has to take a boat ride accross the Densu River. Hotel Accomodation with swimming pool is on the main land. There are Restuarants and Bars on site and also at the Beach. The beach is very clean, and the natural setting is unique and lovely. Bojo Beach is located in graater Accra - about 30 minutes from the Airport or the city center. The beach is open 7 days in a week. Outside Food and Drinks are not allowed since there are Restuarans and Bars available to cater to your needs

Drove about 30 minutes from Accra, to get to the beach. We discovered a resort next to the beach, which was a welcome idea for tourists. You pay to access the beach, then you are ferried in a shallow boat, for about a 100 meters, to the beach.The beach was clean, bright, sunny and the waves were restful. You can sunbathe, eat,drink, play beach volleyball and enjoy some music, without being disturbed. Brilliant.

Come here to enjoy the serene park fronting the beautifully designed, marble mausoleum. Behind the mausoleum that houses Kwame Nekruma’s and his wife’s graves is a small museum dedicated to personal effects and photos of Nekruma’s life and career. There is a large copper alloy statue of Nekruma on display. His head was decapitated from the statue during the coup that resulted in his exile. The decapitate body is a striking sight. The head was recovered 40+ years later and is displayed next to the body. This is a striking commentary on the instability of African politics. This is a must stop for history and culture buffs.

I used to come to Aburi Gardens for walks, picknics or just meetings with friends years ago and loved it. The grounds were well looked after, there were many plants with clear labels including cocoa trees and orchids. The Gardens go back to colonial times and they used to be a wonderful place to rest and learn a lot about plant species. Unfortunately the management are doing a terrible job and the place looks a mess. I was shattered to see it so run down and deteriorated. Except for the main lawn with the biggest trees all the other area is just bush - weeds grow waist high, the walkways are crumbling or overgrown or both, there is lots of rubbish and not one rubbish bin in sight. The original guesthouse is falling apart. Information about plant species is nowhere to be found, no orchids to speak off. I was extremely disappointed to see such a beautiful place with a great history destroyed by poor management. Shame!

I really enjoyed, being at this Mall, because of the food court. There was many great choices, and you can get to enjoy Continental, Asian, Local dishes, Pizzas, Burgers, coffees, I was also able to do a little shopping, and I loved the variety of commodities at their Shop-rite and Game Brands.The cinema was the only downer for me, because I did not like the available movies.

If you're looking for souvenirs and things like that, this isn't the place. This is more for toiletries, fabric, and anything else. We went for a few minutes but honestly were too overwhelmed. If you have time it would be nice to walk around and get a feel for the city, but not worth it for a quick trip or trying to find gifts.

As a person who visits museums often I felt that the mausoleum was really nice. The Dubois house is preserved well however I think more information, pictures, furnishings and just general information was needed, The guide was informative and is needed otherwise the house/museum would not be of interest.

First visit here was year 2000. Nothing has changed. Walk the beach, and see men woman and children squat and relieve themselves, only 2ft distance from you. They have done this for generations. Big Millie ( Wendy) must be making money for very little input. Returned, Big Miliies at Kokrobite beach2017 .Thinking after all these years it must have improved at least 90%/ .Still a very, very ,filthy place. Will not be returning 2027!

Labadi Beach could be a main attraction of Accra, and for sure, it was it for a long time. I visited the place since 2009 several times but this very year was it a terrible experience. Why? If you visit a beach, you probably like to swim in sea. But if the beach isn't clean and you swim instead with the fishes with plastic, then your experience will not be amazing. You go there, you pay a entrance fee and i understand, if the metropolis of Accra dumps its garbage all in the sea, the staff there cannot fish it all out. But at least, to clean the beach from stranded plastics, cigarettes, bottle covers, etc., that would be possible. A other problem is the quality of the bars/restaurants there. When i reached there, i noticed a lot of people brought there food from outside, what surprised me, then before you got there really nice food for reasonable prices. That changed as well. Better don't try it again. The portions are now very little and loveless prepared. Even if you do so, you will compete with dozens of flies for your food. They are quite attracted to be there cause the staff likes to empty half full abounded bottles oder glasses right there in the sand...
Generally said, the hygienic standard at Labadi Beach is now unfortunate low, very low! The people in charge should try to do something about it else the place loses its attractiveness complete! Who likes to enjoy his self with unqualified staff, with flies and surrounded by garbage? I hope it will change again.
