We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Morzine. Our 2 young children (aged 3&5) had their first private lesson with Tom-who was a well experienced lovely guy! I would highly recommend this company! Tom had a great approach towards our boys and clearly instructed them through out their lesson (from putting on their skis to checking their clothing and finally ensuring they learnt, listened and had fun!) Thank you to all at BASS!! online booking was informative and well instructed!! Excellent service!! From Laura, Glen, Tom & Fyn McCready

I went on the week-long MINT Technical Performance Camp in Morzine/Avoriaz to improve my fledgeling snowboarding. I had a really great experience with the MINT coaches I encountered. The camp is extremely well organised and people can be moved from one group to another if required, depending on their skill level and needs. My coaches were Jorge and Gerard, and I couldn't have been happier with their instruction and coaching styles. Everyone I hung out with from the MINT team in the bar/at dinner were really friendly and fun people. The arrangement with Treeline Chalets for airport transfers, accommodation and food is excellent and it was the best chalet experience I've had so far. I started the week as a not-quite-beginner, not-yet-intermediate and by the end of it I was boarding with so much more fluency, confidence and technique than I could have envisaged, definitely got out of the experience more than I had expected. One initial concern was that as a 32-year old I would be attending a camp full of teenagers/the gap year crowd, but I was informed by the MINT team prior to booking that the age ranges mostly between 25 and 60-something, and this was exactly what I found - a great group of people of all ages to spend a week with as a solo traveller (the vast majority of people here were also solo travellers). I would recommend this camp for anyone from absolute beginner to more advanced and I will certainly be returning for another week next season.

This is the third set of lessons with the third different teacher, each teacher had a different style, and all three have been excellent, Stefan, JT and Lily, I feel I have came on leaps and bounds, my confidence is much higher and I know I now have the skill set to come down all but the most challenging of runs, I no longer have that feeling of dread Approaching steeper faster slopes, and pretty much only use blue runs to get to the red runs now, I’ve now also sampled a little off piste which was tricky but done in the most relaxing and gentle of slopes. At no time was anyone in the group under pressure, with people moving up and down groups on a daily basis dependent on their abilities and personal comfort levels, I can not stress enough how professional and friendly Easy2Ride are, my Kids and wife have also been under their instruction and they too love and look forward to lessons and coming back.

Enormous thanks to Bill @ Billski for turning our children (son aged 11 & daughter aged 13) from complete, nervous beginners into confident, stylish skiers, who after just a few days nailed red runs and were SO excited about their lessons; which they were dreading before their first lesson. To see their enormous smile on their faces after their first lesson said it all. Really cannot thank Bill enough. The kids loved him; he was cool, funny and so brilliant & such an amazing skier and my son said ‘it’s amazing how much you learn skiing as Bill makes it so much fun and you learn without realising it. Billski really made our holiday! Thank you so much.

Anja's the best! We've just finished our 2nd ski holiday with a week of morning lessons with New Generation, both times we've had a great experience. My 2 girls and I starting learning 3 yrs ago, now aged 10 and 13 the girls are confidently flying down reds with solid technique thanks to the New Generation team. Kids lessons are fun, and they especially adored having Anja last year who makes sure they have the right position and mindset, all through fun activities like dance moves to music she plays on the go, jumps, mini moguls, backward skiing, skiing on 1 ski, always upbeat and always happy! I had the pleasure of Anja as my instructor this year. Anyone who started to ski in their 40s might well appreciate the anxiety that comes as part of the package! By the end of last year's holiday I was starting to get the hang of it but still was very apprehensive at the start of this week. Blue runs were do-able but for the most part not enjoyable! Anja built my confidence by concentrating on the right position with a good bit of positive psychology thrown in, so much so that by the end of the week she had me going down red runs with enough confidence in my technique that I knew I could get down any slope. Knowing how to correct my position and to have control on slopes that would have given me palpitations just looking at before my lessons with Anja feels like a massive achievement - I can't than Anja enough! We'll be back next year (and this time I'm actually looking forward to it!)
