Discovery Station at Hagerstown

Discovery Station at Hagerstown, Inc. is a hands-on museum that provides life-long learning experiences to thousands of children and families each year. We create an environment that stimulates curiosity for discovery, exploration, and further investigation through exhibits and programs that focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) principles.

We stopped at Discovery Station on our family road trip and was very pleased with the experience. First, the admission price ($7 for kids only, adults are free) is extremely reasonable for the amount of materials present. Second, the historic building adds a lot of character, and the exhibits are enhanced by using every nook and cranny in this space. Third, the interactive nature of the activities, complete with play suggestions for parents and caregivers, was fantastic. My three-year-old especially loved the first floor play areas, particularly the vet setup. My one-year-old spent a majority of her time filling and emptying the grocery Carta, enjoying every second of it. Provided kids are with parents or family members who are engaged and playing with them (which, if you read the materials and posters around Discovery Station, is the point after all!), this little place provides hours of fun, creativity, and imagination at almost no cost. Will definitely repeat next time we're in the area!

We are new to the area and just started going to this cinema. Great prices with discount days. Some days have free refills on soda and popcorn. Most seats are huge with wide aisles. As a bonus you can buy tickets online. And they don't even have a ticket attendant. You just walk in and sit down.

If you are looking for something different, and great quality, no matter if it`s clothing or furniture, the Prime Outlets is for you. I bought a smart jacket for a great price, which better`s the usual clothing you can get from cheap based stores. Ample parking, you will need a whole day to visit all the stores in the area. Quality at it`s best, and the store assistants are happy to help you in any way. Cannot recommend this enough.
