What an amazing eye opening experience. If in Dubbo you can not miss this. This exhibit is run by very dedicated volunteers especially Noel who is a true gentleman and so passionate about the RFDS. The true stories that come from here are very heart warming.

Fantastic day... they have adapted to covid with safety measures and QR codes to watch videos rather than live zoo keeper talks. Hired a golf buggy which was great - but you can only hire for 3 hours which only got us half way around. So after returning it ended up walking most of the zoo again anyway. Next time I would hire bikes instead - flat, easy to get around. Talk bottled water not many places to refill. Totally worth the trip!! Pleasantly surprised by Dubbo overall!

We (2 adults with a 6 year old boy) did the night sky & telescope tour on a Thursday night. We were surprised to see the number of people turning up for the tour, which was well over 20 people. Despite the crowd and waiting our turns to use the telescopes, it was well worth it. Peter gave us a good, albeit brief, introduction to what we are seeing. His use of the laser pointer was also very useful in pointing out the various stars, constellations, etc. At the end of the tour, we passed him a SD card to capture a photo of the nebula using his camera. You could also use your own DSLR camera, should you wish to. My son didn't find it boring and enjoyed looking at Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, and others. I think for the next trip, we will book the premium tour.

What a great thing to do on the weekend. This was probably hands down the best botanic gardens we have visited to date.We just loved the Japanese theme throughout and all the beautiful koi fish in the ponds, everything was just so fresh, green and beautiful presented. What a pleasure to visit the homestead and learn so much about the history of this national treasure. Our guide, Karen, has an amazing passion for sharing the experiences of early settlers as they worked and lived in the Dubbo region. Definitely worth a visit when next in Dubbo.

We love going to Readings Cinema Dubbo. Now a flat rate of $12, every day and every movie. My rewards card means I get even cheaper discounted tickets, and free popcorn and a drink on a regular basis. My family loves to see the big blockbuster movies on the big screen. We have never had a bad experience.

There is a very short walk along the riverside to the several places where the grinding grooves are clearly visible. Wonderful that they have not been vandalized. The trees alongside the river are superb but there are so many weeds that need clearing. Saw a Pelican and I'm sure other birds would come here.

We were picked up and returned to our accommodation in the Hotel’s courtesy bus. The upstairs dining room is accessible by lift or stairs and is a large area that offers a range of seating and table options. We ordered the steak and it was excellent, well cooked and presented. They have a very good range of beers on tap and wine list. We were very happy that we took the opportunity to have dinner here.
