Key Biscayne is home to some of the most brilliant, white sandy beaches and offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities, including bicycling, tennis, golf, fishing, kite boarding, windsurfing, boating and sailing. To get to Key Biscayne by car you’ll pass the Miami Seaquarium, home to the original “Flipper”, before driving across the causeway to the idyllic island of Key Biscayne. Bayside Market Place has something for everyone! Dine with friends at an exciting restaurant or visit one or all of the many thrilling attractions, like South Beach, Jungle Island or Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Visit the 170-year old Cape Florida Lighthouse or Crandon Park Beach and meet Miami's biggest star - Lolita the Killer Whale. Crandon Beach is also famous for its parade of famous photographers and models. Some of the world’s best fishing and scuba diving is done right off shore on amazing artificial reefs made ingeniously from everything from recycled tug boats to airplanes! Amazing! Enjoy a round of golf, play tennis, go windsurfing or spend some quiet time with a good book under the shade of a palm tree on the Village Green. Here, miles of beautiful beaches and natural settings can be enjoyed by bike, rollerblades or scooters. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Recreation Area is located on the southern tip of Key Biscayne and is one of the most beautiful natural areas near Miami. Follow the Key Biscayne Heritage Trail and experience incredible blue waters, barrier island ecosystems and a prehistoric fossil reef. See where the Nixon Winter Whitehouse stood, where pirates hid in Hurricane harbor and watch dolphins and manatee.

I played yesterday afternoon, What a course. For a public course it was A+. It's better than some private courses I played. Greens & fairways were in great shape. The views if Miami also was a plus. If you get a chance to play you won't be disappointed.

This was our first time here, I have lived in Miami for 7 years and Lynne even longer than me and, neither of us ever went to Key Biscayne before, it is really lovely, the lighthouse is really pretty, it is located inside the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, there are a few walking paths or you can rent bikes, there is the beach, it has a totally different vibe from Miami yet, you are 10 minutes from the city, we will definitely be back again ❤️ The only thing I would improve is the closing time at the lighthouse area, as the park is open till later that area should be too and not close at 4 pm, way too early. I can't say enough about my experience at the Ritz Spa in Key Biscayne. From the assistance I received when making my spa reservations ( November Specials) all the way through until my departure. When I called to make my appointments The young lady who assisted me gave me her recommendation on the order I should get my treatments so that I could enjoy each one to the max. Once I arrived I was greeted and was informed of the Covid procedures they have and then asked to take a seat after being offered a refreshment. My first treatment was a massage that was incredible. It was very relaxing and I wish It could have gone longer. After that I went to get a facial which for me was the highlight. Everything was explained to me during my facial and she made sure I was comfortable through out the entire experience. I finished off with the Manicure and Pedicure. Also, found it to be a great experience. I definitely would recommend the Ritz Spa in Key Biscayne as the staff there is AMAZING!!! Will sure be back to visit soon.

Please stop here while in Key Biscayne. It is like going back in time - an old zoo-type park that now is taken over naturally by birds and critters. Yes, we saw peacocks, ibises, iguanas, gorgeous ducks, egrets. Very manageable for strollers, walkers or wheelchairs. Free and in the open - we got in a couple of mile walk that was unforgettable.
