Crab Shuttle

The Crab Shuttle provides daily boat trips between Kampot & Kep. The boat leaves 9.00 am and arrives in Kep about 2 hours later. In Kep the guests have 4 hours to spend at their own leisure. In the afternoon (3.00 pm) the guests return to Kampot and on the return trip guests can see the sunset and meet the fishing fleet that sails out around 5pm

Very relaxing and safe tour in a small boat through shallow waters from Kampot to Kep, about 2 hrs. It surely depends on the season and maybe we were just lucky during our trip - we have seen dolphins and little flying fishes. Watch out for the fishing boats on your way back to Kampot in the afternoon! Some bottles of water are provided on bord, even cans of cold beer (1 $). The boat will pass Kep and land at a spot in the east of Kep (where the boats for rabbit Island depart). If you want to visit the crab market in Kep you can either walk, along the coast, it takes about 1 h. There is some shadow, but be prepared to walk as well in the sun. Or you take a Tuk-tuk, they will be waiting for you at the landing spot (2-4 $ one-way). Contact for reservation via Facebook Messenger, very easy. You'll pay before getting on board. One-way tickets also available. Traveling with all your luggage is possible, but maybe it's better to announce this with the booking. Very well organised tour, all information provided which is necessary and helpful. Very friendly and experienced capitano.

I stumbled across Kaman online and arranged a tour of Kampot for the day. He picked us up right on time, was a blast to hang out with, and the tour lasted exactly as long as we had discussed. No bad surprises! His English was excellent as well. We loved him so much we contacted him to take us for a few hour trip to Sihanoukville the next day instead of the hotels driver we had planned on arranging, and he was happy to accommodate. Overall, my expectations were exceeded and Kaman is a person who is very easy to be friends with. Our only regret was not getting a selfie together haha! I would recommend him to anyone traveling in the area.

Climbodia

I have been climbing over 20 years (sports, multi-pitch, trad and alpine climbing) and worked in several climbing gyms all over the world. Teaching school groups was an important factor. I’ve worked in construction in heights for 4 years and have been setting up climbing routes for as many years. After graduating Journalism, I lived 5 years in Nepal and have been living in Cambodia over 10 years.
