Playa Troncones

Reviewed By 653scottl - Courtenay, Canada

We've always stayed right on the beach in Troncones and it's worth it. The sea is made for boogie boarding and wave riding, long and shallow, huge waves. They next small beach south is perfect for playing in the waves. The beach seldom has more than 20 people on the entire length except for Christmas and Easter. Beautiful for long walks and sunsets. You can do 10k hikes along Playa Troncones around the headland to Playa Manzanillo, a beautul small bay with great waves, and around the next headland to Playa Majahua.

Santa Prisca de Taxco

This 18th-century church, built with funds provided by silver tycoon José de la Borda, is the centerpiece of the town's main square.

Reviewed By 82jhj - Los Angeles, United States

I'm always amaze on the level of intricacy the churches in Latino America. We couldnt walk a round the inside of the church, we just made it to the entrance. Go and visit beautiful architecture. The only thing that might be annoying is the supposed tourist guides that are pushy but some of the free info they're willing to share as u walk towards the entrance of the church. The one thing i wish would be access to the bell tower as a guided tour that would really cool
