This class was the highlight of our trip to Crete and something we'll remember for a long time. The atmosphere was fantastic, as were the recipes and the dinner at the end (with plenty of raki!) We couldn't have asked for a better instructor - she was an absolute wealth of knowledge not just on the local cuisine but also Cretan history and culture as well.

This freshwater, cool, picturesque lake was a highlight of our time in Crete. Pedal out into the opposite edges, and you’ll find that the water is about three feet deep, totally clear, and teeming with koi carp. My daughter snorkelled in it for a couple of hours while I pootled about in the boat. We could have spent the whole day. Tip: eat at Georgia’s taverna just before you turn in to the lake. There’s a beautiful garden, with trampoline, and you’ll get a warm welcome, and raki with cookies to finish. Her speciality, home-grown food, is beautiful!

I did the beach ride in the morning on advanced level. The horse that was chosen for me fit very well as I have some basic riding skills, but I'm not an extraordinary good rider. The horse that I got was very calm and well-behaved. The leader of the ride did a very good job, I felt very comfortable and safe all the time. The owner of the stable was super nice and helping and took some great photo's of this amazing ride. The early getting up was definitely worth it!
