Moi is a wonderful teacher - patient, firm, professional, clear and obviously loves cooking and great food. The fact that he could adjust the dish to a gluten-free, vegetarian version was much appreciated, and having my husband come join in afterwards for dinner (at no extra cost) was particularly gracious of him. The facility is also great: spotlessly clean, very well-organised and top-notch appliances in the kitchen...this is professional from start to finish, and well worth the very reasonable price-tag. Highly recommended!

The visit to casa de la Libertad wouldn’t be the same without the touristic guide . My English tour starts at 4 and the guide was Paula. Absolutely amazing! This great plaza is centrally located amidst the historical buildings that constitute a capital of this fantastic country! It is extremely popular and occasionally throngs with people, almost to the point that one has seek an alternate path through. It is an excellent point of reference for directions, especially since I was overnighting at the close by Colors House Hostel. The sculptures/architecture reflect the storied history of beautiful Bolivia, as well as being magnets for contemporary civic discourse. If it’s happening & important, it’s likely that it’s attached to this important public space. There is always snacks & drinks available here, from kiosks or the seemingly always-present TIAs selling from park benches. I was quite pleased with them as last night (09MAR) there was a showing of “el Diablo del Mineros”, and I provided popcorn for all viewers because I was able to Gimprush to the plaza and buy several bags! It certainly gets my enthusiastic “iWheel of Approval!”

With their colourful intriguing costumes and their energetic and powerful movements, the dancers of Origines - Espacio Cultural show Bolivian history and tradition in a super fun and fascinating way. This experience is definitely different from anything else we have done so far on our travels through South-America, and a great addition to our trip. We had dinner included in the reservation, but if you don't include it, it seems you can choose from a larger menu during the evening itself (which might me even better).

I absolutely loved this museum! We were taken on a tour by Hebert who was amazing at explaining each of the exhibitions. The museum is sort of in the dark, with Hebert turning on the lights of just one section at a time meaning that it was full of constant surprises. I really enjoyed learning about the impact of mining on the economy and culture of Bolivia, and seeing the artefacts in the museum. The most amazing section is the crystals. You aren't allowed to take photos which is a shame but I think it is nice that everything there is a surprise to you. Good value for money, interesting stuff and a superb guide.

The dinosaur tracks are part of a dinosaur park. The park entrance fee includes a free guided tour in English/Spanish, which explains about the discovery of these tracks and the different types of dinosaurs identified. I recommend going for the 12pm or 1pm tour as they are the only ones which go down to visit the actual tracks.
