We have had the privilege of sharing our tours with people 7 days a week, five times a day for the last 8 years straight! We have boards for all ages, sizes and experience levels. Most people who come out on tour with us have never tried paddle boarding so we start every tour with an on ground demonstration and lesson. Then there is a calm bay where everyone has a chance to try it out and get comfortable. If anyone still does not feel comfortable, we have 1, 2 and 3 person kayaks on site that we can switch to. Once we set off on our adventure we will do a circle around an Island, where we will go under 8 bridges, through the Yatch Club along side all of the Yatchs, we will go through small winding canals always close to shore and in relatively shallow water. We will go through multiple spots that have a high concentration of Manatees and the Dolphin are everywhere! Your SUP tour is guaranteed to be amazing with great memories to share when you go home. We offer our tours at 8:30 am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm. We have been going to this park for a couple decades and it still ranks as one of their favorite ones. We call it Rainbow Park, as you enter under the arched rainbow. The play ground is under a canopy of oak trees (although the hurricanes the past couple of years have affected the amount of shade left from them). The playground has a large multi-level, multi-section wooden playset with turrets, wooden bridge, fireman's pole, rope wall, multiple monkey bars, balance beam, teeter-totter, disk swing, and much more. There is a small area within the fenced playground for younger children and a handicap accessible swing. Parents can sit on one of the park benches or seating areas within the wooden playset. There is also a covered Pavillion with picnic tables. Outside the fenced play area are workout stations, a larger swing set, basketball courts, and racketball courts. Public restrooms are within an easy walking distance behind the park in the rear parking area. Other covered pavillions are nearby, as well. Enjoy a short time here between errands, after school, or make it longer and meet friends there.

Gary made our Daytona Speedway All Access Tour the absolute best! He was friendly, funny and very informative! He made my 8 year olds day by offering special treatment for his volunteer help! My Grandpa is a huge NASCAR fan and attends the race yearly and still enjoyed the tour and being able to show us his favorite stuff about the track. Gary made connections with everyone, especially us Iowans.. loved his personality and tour! Highly recommend Gary as your guide! Thank you for such a great experience!

We stumbled across Ormond Beach in 2017 simply looking for a place to stay on our way to Orlando on the beach that was inexpensive. We found a hotel right on the beach that was extremely affordable and fell in love with the community very quickly. Our family enjoy the laid back beach community outside the hustle and bustle of Daytona tourism. You can be a vacationer but feel like a local there. Beach is clean, and people are friendly.

We found this place to be interesting. I liked that we could drive around most of the park, even though we did prefer to walk. We're hikers from Pennsylvania and discovered this state park while on vacation, we didn't exactly plan on hiking while in FL, but could resist the opportunity either, so we really weren't prepared with clothing/footwear and bug spray. We had a great experience until we attempted to hike the nature trail. We took just a few steps onto the trail and were swarmed by mosquitoes. We retreated. That was the only place we had an issue with mosquitoes, all other areas of the park were fine. We saw gator tracks, belly and tail drag marks but no actual gators. The park store was not open due to current COVID situations, so kayak and canoe rentals were off the table. But all in all, we went to spend the day with nature and that's what we did. We'd visit again... next time we'll bring bug spray!

The stadium is named in honor of Jackie Robinson because Daytona Beach was the first Florida city to allow Robinson to play during the 1946 season's spring training. The game, which was played on March 17, 1946. A statue of Robinson is now located at south entrance to the ballpark. On October 22, 1998, the stadium was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places.

We had an absolute blast!!!! For the young, the old and in between!!! This was the best thing we have done since moving here. It would be a great during a vacation, too. We took our 13 yr old great nephew, who is with us for a month..to see the game! Wow! Wow! Wow. Not only is it on an island in a cool location,(easy in and easy out) the ppl that work there love what they do!!! They go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time. I cannot imagine a better night for any age!!! It is worth 1000 times the price! The team is amazing! We loved the mascot, camera guys (yes you might be up on the big screen), the announcers, the ???? tunes played, the bleacher staff and even the guys at the gate...EVERYONE... was just so hospitable. The entire experience is something you will talk about for years to come. I know it is minor league, but the players, the game and the staff make it the majors. Oh and a huge heads up...check their calendars...it looks like there is always something planned. Coming up is the bud light game where parents can get a beer for a buck. I would ensure you go directly to the Tortugas site to buy tickets. They are priced the best there. Trust me, and I am as picky as they come. This, by far, is a guaranteed night of fun, excitement and a huge memory making treasure! Thank you to the Daytona Tortugas for such an amazing time! We will see you again very soon!

They had a drive-thru “petting zoo” (minus the petting due to social distancing) which was a huge hit with our 17-month-old grandson. With local playgrounds being off limits right now this was the sweetest, socially distant experience. Thank you! Thank you! You made our day! Check their website for dates and times, but when we attended the event it was Fridays and Saturdays in May from 11am to 6pm for a $10 donation. Donations go to the care of the animals.
